Hi!

What Japanese word would you use for "point of view" when asking, "whose point of view is this from?" about a piece of fiction.

I'm asking the author about a piece written in the first person, where I can't tell which character is speaking (it's intentionally a bit ambiguous.)

Would it be 観点? "（これは）誰の観点ですか?

I would use 視点; 誰の視点ですか？ / 誰の視点で書かれた文章ですか？

Also, if you're saying a piece of work is very "human" (raw, honest, relatable, etc.) what would you use? I can only find 人情 and 人間らしい, though the latter seems to mean more like "humane"...

And would this be correct:

解釈は見る人に任せると言いましたけど、あなたの個人的な意見が知りたいんです。

人間味のある or 人間臭い


解釈は見る人に任せると仰いましたが、個人的な御意見をお伺いしたいものですから。
This is for the case you recieved the author's words directly to you(e.g. in his/her reply to you). If you saw it somewhere(in an interview, for instance), 仰っていました is more appropriate.
言いました means that the one who said "解釈は見る人に任せる" was you.

If it were a more casual context, would あなたの個人的な意見が知りたいんです technically be correct?
