pugtm...this is where I am asking a question, hoping for some of your expertise, if you have any in this area....
The name Joseph. Did it ever mean "flower" in Hebrew, such as the flower of God? Flower of Abraham?
What does Joseph mean?
Point, maybe....I am making a big logical leap here...
Egyptian... Shashenq...I say it is Zho-Shee-en-ka... Flower King, or Joseph King, or Joseph, King of Flowers?
Japanese... Sushi... Flowers...? correct me if I am wrong on this. The fish meal is made to resemble flowers. Popular proper name... Zhoshee, I would be curious to know its exact meaning and origin.
Aztec... Zhochimilco... Zho shee meel co....Field of flowers, and King of Flowers, very famous Aztecan name...appears in many forms, all related to flowers.
Any help on this, on the Hebrew, Japanese sides, would be appreciated.
Ok hebrew i know.
Perach, Dalia, Kalanit, Nirit, and Yasmin(jasmine)all mean flower or some variation thereof. The name Joseph is actually pronounced yosef and means "he will add"
Meaning, origin and history of the name Joseph
Remember you know the English version of names we in Hebrew don't even have a J sound. ill look for some connections in names but a Japanese linguistics expert might have more success than a 16 year old who is a month into learning the language.
