Japan Killing Whales, Now Dolphins!

Rose was telling how Australia has laws and regulations unlike Japan in her views so I wanted to inform her about Australian regulations. Illustrating hypocrasy.

I think I need to clarify a few things, I oppose illegal or the in-humane slaughter of any animal including Kangaroos, there are guidelines and regulations in Australia but these can be and are broken. I support any organization that helps change this. Centrajapn, you can lobby the Australian government, and purchase products which do not cause harm to animals in this way, this is your right. But to justify one type of slaughter because another type of slaughter is happening is not a very good reason to carry on. This is also part of the problem with your arguments, the Japanese whaling fleet are not carrying out commercial whaling they are justifying the killing of more than 900 whales for scientific purposes. When there are just as valid non-lethal research methods available. The villagers which this industry is of such importance are seeing no benefit from this 'scientific whaling', this is the real hypocrisy.

Whale eat kangaroo?😊

and Welcome to Japan from racist country.

I am well aware of the racism and discrmination issues in Japan.

I translated an information booklet on the subject for foreigh migrants residing in Japan.

I did this for the Nara prefectural government.

Racism and discrimination in Japan is rife.. It is a huge problem in your country. Sabetsu

Australia my friend is a multi cultural country, started with migrants and different races of people so you could harldy say Australia is racist.

I have never seen racism here and it is illegal for a start..

But I have never seen racism here in Japan although I have been here many years....I understand you are sensitive about racism/discrimination, but better not rely on your imagination.

If you feel insulted, I must apologize, but Japan is fairly homogenious country. Please do not cause trouble by telling .... this is rasit and that is discrimination.

Assuming you are not permanent resident here, you better not dig small issue and generalize it.

AND NOW. . . with that aside, we can talk about, argue pros and cons over, and check up on research data/points related to Japan's killing (or not, or to what degree) dophins and whales.

Other side tracked off-topics and almost attacks will have gone to warmer waters now...I really do hope.

Yes, It does exist in Japan. I have felt it first hand as an Australian, as have my American colleagues their, and Japanese friends and associates, as have my half castes friends, as have my caucasian friends, like I said, I completed a translation for an information booklet on the subject targetting victims for the Nara prefectural government.

I have a good friend in Australia, Katsu, he is Japanese, he is gay, he has lived in Australia for 22 years, is now an Australian citizen, he hates Japan due to discrimination and will never return.

My mother has a good friend in Sydney who is mixed Swiss/Japanese.

She also felt it when their and now hates Japan..

As for me being a permanant resident of Japan, no bloody way!

It is currently a big issue for me and family as my wife is Japanese, and in turn, my nine month old son Kai, is half and I do worry if we return for him to grow up their so we may not come.

Who needs discrimination and racism in their lives..

Japan has a long way to go.. Sorry.. But that really is the way it is..
