Hi,
I'm a fan of Japan gore/horror/splatter movies, like Guinea Pig, Ichi The Killer, Tetsuo The Iron Man, Shogun 's Sadism d others.
Is there someone with these movies? I'm searching for other fan of this genre!!!

lol the guinea pig series are SICK :D later it gets funnier though but the first two...jesus 😌

The guinea pig series are too gross, I couldn't watch them all the way through.

But other gore flicks, Stacey the school girl zombies, Jisatsu sakaru, Junk,

oh man :

ichi the killer, is so sick !!!!!!!!! i coudlnt watch it , its so evil :devilish:

I'm the Ultimate Ringu Fan!

I also liked Darkwater, it filled me with pity for the little girl whose Mommy went with the ghost. That kiddo was really cute...

Is it just me or have you guys noticed that Ringu, Darkwater, Wishing Stairs, A Tale of Two Sisters have something in common? You see their 'monsters' all have hair covering their faces and some crawl or that their bodies are in a really weird angle... :?

I haven't seen that many movies but the one I had seen were pretty good.

I would mention thier titles but they were poorly dubbed into the hmong language.

All I know is Azumi and Mothra 2.

Tetsuo the iron man is also insanely cool. Tsukamoto in my opinion is one of japan's most consistent directors, not to mention a great actor (for example Jiji in Ichi the killer). Gemini, Hiruko the goblin, snake of june, tetsuo II...all great movies :)

ichi the killer!!! THAT's what it was called! thanks.. i've been trying to remember that FOREVER...

Yep!! In Asia, ghosts are always depicted like that i.e. women with long black hair and white dress....and you never see their faces totally, which is the scary part....in Asia they don't make noises with chains and wear a white sheet. :-)
When I come to think of it, when I was a little kid, when I thought of ghosts they were always women...I don't think male ghosts are depicted in a specific way in Asia.

For an extensive list on movies that could be ultra-violent, checking the films at Fantasia's website ( fantasiafestival.com ) usually has a good selection. Sadly, I have not seen one of these sadist movies this year.

You can purchase guinea pigs-films and similar horror films at: www.unearthedfilms.com

Personally, I don't want to watch the guinea pig films, as I think they are too gore for me...from the reviews I have read.
