Marco Polo Bridge Incident

This incident is a very mysterious one.
i thik Sina-communist did because they wanted fighting of KMT and japan
quote:
Translation: "I have talked to my Japanese friends. They said, 'We are sorry, the Imperial Japanese army invaded China.' I told them, 'No! If your Imperial army did not occupy half of China, the people of China would not have united against you, and we will not be in power today.'
Mao Zedong - Wikiquote
quote:
Zhou Enlai also was confessing that the communist party did.

That was how long ago... are you saying China is asking for an apology to this date? And for what?

caster51 .... eat your own " words ",read your post#26 in thread titled " Japan's SHAME CULTURE " as you clearly acknowledged Japan's military invasion of China and Japan expressed more sincere apology in Japanese way,but questioned Chinese never know that.

You're one troubled-soul voluntarily carry Japan's WW 2 sinful baggage, get a life.Your posts @ Jref are either searching for Jew/European heritage-tie to ancient Japanese Yamato-origin or warring with other posters on WW 2 issues, rarely participate in fun topics.

www.ja.wikipedia.org.wiki has listing of named Japanese PM,Foreign Ministers plus others issued " REMORSE and OFFICIAL APOLOGIES ".

Japan still owes China and Korea reparations for war damages and great harm inflicted on civilian families, also needs to compensate China for the removal of biological warfare materials in old Manchuria.

C'mon caster51-san, surely you're better than that?

Do stop whitewashing the inexcusable criminality and cruelty behind your country's WW2 actions. I still have living relatives in the affected regions who would attest to your soldiers' less-than-tender "mercies".

Japan's persistent societal arrogance and exclusionary behaviour to her East-Asian brethren are certainly not signs of "deep remorse" for past transgressions, logically speaking.

that was a WAR......that is it.

War? You mean our "war" against your imperial aggression? Your country waged a war upon our lands. I don't remember the Chinese and Koreans actually flying over to Japan to systematically rape, torture, murder and vivisect your countrymen.

You delude yourself. It seems that you're just another stubborn Chinese Holocaust denier. That is sad. The ugly truth of your country's WW2 cruelty needs to be confronted before any healing can occur. Do you seriously expect a rape-victim to empathise with and be kind to the rapist?

A war that was started by Japanese aggression towards its neighbours

Try reading this article from WikipediaManchukuo - Wikipedia
Note the part that says
I have highlighted the two lines that show Japanese invasion into China

at first this english web is not from view of japanese stand point.
A war that was started by towards its neighbours
not at all.
at first when did Japanese aggression started towards its neighbours?

Boxer Rebellion - Wikipedia

japan was there at that time because of this.

They might have been there, but that does not give them the right to then seize a piece of Chinese land and proclaim it as their own. How would you feel if the American fleet led by Perry had not only broken Japans isolation, but decided to seize part of Japanese land as US soil because they were just there?

they were just there?
who demanded j-A to stay there?
they were welcomed J-a at that time.
manshuria was not han-chinese country.
even Qing dynasty(it was not han chinese dynasty) did not make han chinese to enter there.

NO. This generation of Japanese had nothing to do with the evils of their forefathers. Japan already apologized enough already. Some people need to move along with their lives.

And who are you to dictate this? What apologies? They had as much
sincerity as your selective magnanimity. Get real.

Japan has not apologized formally

I have to remind you that Japan hasn't ever apologized for China about the aggression in any Japanese formally documents.
only in 1995 Japanese prime minister generally apologized for all asian people of the time. so none can rebuke China for the request to apologize endlessly.
To apologize or not is a matter of Japan, China can't say more, but I wish Japan consider it solemnly.

Who's dictating anything? A question is put forth in the title of this thread, I gave my opinion. Do you feel threatened or something?

I've notice the hostile tone of your posts here and elsewhere. Chill out!

As China never apology to Japan, Korea, Rossia, Vietnum, Tibet, or East Trukistan, One Nation will not apology to other Nation, even after the war. Only compensation will be paid to the winner from loser. Japan and China made a treaty to complete compensation, and all deal regarding WWII is finilized. Plaese study international law.

Dude, you are kinda missing the ponit and yes we have absolutely moved on with our lives.

It's the Japanese right-wingers, not Chinese, who keep revising the text books to justify a war which your grandfather may have helped to stop.

It's the Japanese right-wingers who keep worshipping class A war criminals such as Tojo your father's generation still viewed as enemies.

Nobody said this generation of Japanese actually committed the horrendous atrocities, but some of them, such as caster51, clearly admire/idolize their forefathers who did. He has a whole theory regarding how imperial Japan had no other option but invade half of Asia, and bomb the Pearl Harbor.

By the way, just like Tojo Caster51-san is not so much in love with Americans either. Yesterday he was telling me in another thread how the US is the root problem between CHina and Japan, and that US has to maintain a military presence in Japan since Americans fears a close China-Japan tie, etc.

You don't have to take my words for it, just ask Caster51-san yourself. He's so full of it he just can't help.

Interestingly, I have not heard of any government demanding an apology from China, including the Japanese government.

On the contrary, Russia, both Koreas and Vietnam all have very close ties with China now. Japan, on the other hand, is having problems with quite a few governments in the region.

Personally I don't give a rat's *** if your PM apologizes to CHina. But yoru statement "One nation will not apology....." is simply ignorant beyond belief.
Germany not only apologized to Poland and Russia, it has also transformed itself to a respectable nation that tremendously contributes to global stability issues such as the middle east. Germany redefined its future through a profound reflection on its war past. Meanwhile, Japan obsesses itself with whitewashing its war past by revising history textbooks. What a contrast.

Regarding Tibet and Xijiang, you can call these Chinese territories other names but it doesn't change the fact that they have long been part of China. In fact, long long long before your empror could even get his orders out of Kyoto.
