For Bin Ladin he's been working with them since they were fighting the soviet union; he actually went to Las Vegas and gambled. Its no suprise really, the united states planned 911, Osama Bin Ladin was once again another puppet. Why did they do it because Islam was spreading quickly and they didn't like it.

As for the jews I don't know what will happen, after all this is life and unexpected things do happen. My only hope is that no more people get their life's taken away.

As for Men and Women your going a little overboard. All men want women(it dosn't make a difference if your a westerner or asian) this way of clothing is to dress properly and to have an ordained society with man and woman in public society .

I agree with you Fantt. Most American Christians are evengelical-- a lot of mainstream Protestants and even some Catholics- the Charismatics, believe in dispensational escatology.
 
Ok, MasterX fair enough. I think it's safe to assume you don't whole-heartedly support forcing women to wear complete black coverings in public as they do in Saudi Arabia.

I'm glad that you don't wish death to anyone else in Palestine or Israel.

As for Bin Laden, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. My guess is that bin Laden considers himself to be a very pious and deeply religous man. He took American support because it enabled him to fight a Holy War in Afghan against the Soviets. To say, though, that our government caused the 911 attacks is going right over the edge. Our government could have easily made the attacks look much more spectacular and more easily tied to extremists. I can see how those in charge may have used the attacks to further their own political careers, but that's a far cry from actually planning, financing and carrying out the attacks.

My guess is that the feeling that bin Laden is a CIA plant is a story which circulates around Muslim circles to help them cope with the fact that a member of their own religion has done something which they just can't imagine could be true.

Thanks for the discussion, MasterX. I actually do think that the vast majority of Muslims are for peace and love and harmony, just as I believe that the vast majority of humanity in general want that as well.

You are talking about the same guys who couldn't take Koresh's compound in Waco. The same bunch that planned the Bay of Pigs? Iranian Hostage rescue? Tried to assasinate Castro? Ruby Ridge? Amtrack? (C'mon, we cant even run a decent railroad.)

Asside from being offensive and obscene, this idea is not even logical.
 
As I said Sabro, I think that story exists so that muslims can sleep at night "knowing" that one of their own didn't commit such a horrible thing.
 
the end of time is near, what you are witnessing is the worst of Muslim times. You should of seen us when Islam prosperred. In Spain the jews and Christians wanted to be our neighbors, but yet again evil is always amongest us to make some people do wrong things. This wont end tragic I dont know when but we will rid this evil from the face of the earth, but we must do it by yet again helping one another.

I think the prohibition of the free mixing of the sexes is based on a superstition that if men and women are allowed to freely interact, the men will rape the women. It's one of the things that I find most absurd about Islam.

thats completly out of line. We can interact with women, but not improperly or immoraly like westerners do. It is wrong to rape women and we never do so. There is nothing absurd with Islam it is perfect just like the orignal Judaism, and Christianity.

MasterX, I didn't mean to imply that muslim men do rape women. However, there seems to be a superstition, at least among some muslims that if men and women are allowed to freely interact that the women will so inflame the passions of the men that the men will rape the women. It almost seems like the women are put at fault for that. I find that absurd as well.

I'm a westerner. How do I immorally interact with women? I'm married. I freely mix with the women I work with all day long and there hasn't yet been an instance of rape at work.

As for your religion being perfect, well, that's great for you. I'm glad that you've found an infallible philosophy. I haven't, and I don't think I'd like to.

MasterX doesn't seem so bad. He's said that he doesn't wish anyone to die. He says he has respect for everyone. He's bought into the myths about the terrorists, but that's understandable because the truth apparently really threatens his religion.

He's not out to hurt anyone - I'd guess he's a really nice guy in person.

Just for clarity, I'm not being at all sarcastic.

he wants people gone from his sight because "god" has apparently condemned them, and that makes it ok to force them away with pitchforks. then he goes on to say that they don't want to kill them, but talking doesn't help, so other means are necessary.. you see, god has condemned them! so obviously it's up to the Islamic people to execute revenge.. or something.

All I see is Mr X beating around the bush, trying to seem like a nice guy while all the time saying how everyone of us nonbelievers and even more so, the traitor jews need to be exterminated, just not in so many words.

I'm appauled by all the things done in the name of christianity through the years. So I ditched the whole idea. If anything proves god isn't real, it should be the evil stuff that people do in His name.
 
Hey - it's important to talk with people like MasterX. As long as everyone is civil, we can all learn something new. If he can learn that not all Americans and Europeans are evil, immoral, women-raping monsters, then we've helped ourselves a little bit. And if I can learn that not all muslims want to force women to be totally covered and discarded, then I have learned something.

Just because he thinks differently doesn't make him a bad guy. But I respect your dislike of him as well.

Feels like this hasn't been touched in the thread with a name that implies it should be thoroughly explained.
 
I would guess MasterX would say that Islam is a beacon of light pretty much anywhere. As far as he is concerned it is a perfect religion and only through Islam can people truly attain peace and harmony.

Please forgive me MasterX if I've put words in your mouth.
 
I think if I was Jewish, his words would be quite frightening. Perhaps Master X can explain what we should do with (or what should happen to) millions and millions of Jews now that they have been condemned for their disobedience?

I still like being wise though...
 
I love jews. I've never understood why all the other religions seem to dislike them (appart from the stoning Jesus part, I get that, but come on! He rose from the dead, It all ended well! no harm no foul and all that!)

Jews seem to me to be the one people that do not actively try to press their religion on others. I've met a few jews and even though religion has come up, they've merely stated that they like being jews. Never that I should convert or that being a jew is the right thing.
