Inuyasha-the-kid

Ok, maybe I'm late on this, and I really hope this doesn't affect my reputation on this forum. But I have to make this thread; to the funniest person in a while to come to this forum: Inuyasha-the-kid. The thing about him is I have a feeling he is the most innocent kid in the world. He has discovered Japan/Japanese and he loves it so much that he wants to share it with the world! lol.

Case in point:"The Definitive Guide to the Art of Writing in Japanese". For this, Inuyasha, we thank you for putting a spin on how the Japanese writing system should be taught. I found this insightful and daring; bringing me back to the basics.

And who could forget his idea for the artistic collaboration of computer science and Japanese in: "Japanese and computers: The Search for the Truth" and "Japanese in Depth: Computers?". This kid is going to go far with just his perserverance alone. I tip my hat to you Mr. the-kid.

Last, and certainly not least, Inuyasha has a love for contributing to the site. His compassion is equal to only some. Especially in this post, which I call: "Urban Japanese Grammar and Syntax for the Foreigner".

I sincerely hope Inuyasha will become a permanent resident in our house of JREF, because he shows the innocent side of all of that; even if it encompasses a bit of atama-ga-ippai-ness. I thank you, Inuyasha. And I await your next post as you climb the ranks.

Hmmm... after reading this I actually begin to admire Inuyasha-the-kid...

I really mean it. S/he loves to learn and is not ashamed to ask around...

And last but not least, Inuyasha-the-kid is not selfish. S/he even tried to offer help to others although in each of the above thread s/he turned out to be the one who needed help the most...

But a positive attitude changes everything. Keep up with the good work, kiddo!

Actually I already had *gasps of shock*
But I came to the conclusion that the translation job was a bit too much for me.

[EDIT] Now if you can pick out the odd small bit you're really not certain of I might be able to do something - but skit as a whole is too much to cope with.

Oh, of course. The group is more of a place to congregate about the skit. No one really even has to work on it (but any is appreciated).

What I do is Listen to a bit of the skit, script it best I can (sometimes takes hours for a few minutes), and make small files. I post those small files to the group just in case anyone wants to put in some constructive criticism, or just plain help out. The files are usually one small mp3 of the skit and my script in txt format.

but skit as a whole is too much to cope with.

If I did that, I wouldn't learn anything. The whole point of this project is so I can get more used to hearing spoken Japanese, and learning phrases I'd never heard before. This is my baby.

I ask you and others to join because (1) you are invaluable, and (2) as a team we can learn together. I have much faith in this project! Onegaisimasu PaulTB!
