interview with Japanese people! help!

ok, this is what is all about. my japanese study group recently had test whis should show our knowledge in japanese. but, since we study it really slow, (we have class twice a month), and test was really dificult, now coulpe of us have to have an interview. oh, i forgot to explain, it is all because for one of us they will provide 2 weeks in japan, for study language, of course. (i hope you all understand that that would be my dream come true...) so i have this interview. they told us it will be mainly in english (maybe self introduction in japanese, but that is fine with me). anyway, i could use some advice, because i am really nervous. i am afraid that if i say anything in japanese, that could sound wrong (or even worse, rude). and how should i act? well actaully, i am just overall nervous and scared, so whatever you say, could help me a bit.

I was an exchange student for 6 weeks in Japan and I had an interview as part of the application process. Mine may be very different than yours, but it was nothing to worry about. I did not have to speak any japanese (My interviewer didn't even know any) but he just asked general questions about my interest in Japan, what I like to do, and what I would do in certain situations.
It is really nothing to worry about. And they know that some people will be nervous too. As for the introduction in Japanese, Just study it and practice a little and you should have no problem. If you mess up they'll understand. Im sure that they are looking more for people that could handle the differences of living in a foreign country more than ones that can give a good introduction.
