chinese have been encouraged to boycott japaness goods in order to oppose japaness companies sponsoring the new edition of history textbook, which are criticised as downplaying the truth of the history.
japaness right wing (political groups who support conservative) are in re-action to shoot chinese associations by the using gun. these behavious are same like terrorism, that called by chinese government.
united nations anan call the both sides stop to find a way for solving the problem pecefully.
here is a chance for the two sides. chinese president hu jingtao and japaness prime minister will attend the meeting of Asian and African leaders. people wish the two leaders can have a talk about the matter between the two nations.
in my opinion, i object they do it!

Senator, you know, I have just began to think about where you are from.

I doubt it. If China the country boycotts goods that's one thing - but if Chinese people are unofficially encouraged to not buy Japanese I wouldn't guess there'd be any legal basis to stand on.

i don't mean chinese protesters have been encouraged to make demonstration by chinese local government.

you have right, but why? you talk unfriendly, mean that i slighted you?

seems that the people on two sides dislike each other, the two governments are unability to solve the problem insteat of two sides people.

Chinese want to boycot Japanese products...yet they use Japanese cellphone, electronics etc. on a daily basis...seems pretty stupid to me né? :p

I'm kind of glad there's not much nitpicking here in this thread... It really gives me a major head ache having to see all that regurgiated, over, and over....
Anyway, why can't all the countireis involved come clean with the past, so we can get along? Is that so hard ?

I mean, look at Germany. Do the Japanese right wing really think that the Germans were happy to listen to all their misjudgements from a stiff, moralistic view ? I'd imagine quite a few innocent Germans born after the fact had to suffer major nightmares having to learn about WWI, WWII, Nazi crimes for 12 yrs (is that right ?) But with that comes moral justification, making good with the present & future. Japan's extremists are just making a huge intellectual mistake by denying their past. Like the shrinks say, "Realizing one's past to the point where one sees one's problems without breaking a major sweat is the best cure they (therapy) can give."

Denial is a sin unto oneself... like cance or leprosy... Even the majority of Japanese seem to be aware of the silent truth. Why not come into the sunlight where all can be well again ? Back to Germany, it's not because they lost; it's because the ideas & actions based on them were highly questionable. Even if Germany had won, Germans themselves would have come to terms with the dreadful truth. Power of intellect; which the Japanese hard-core supremacists are incapable of having, and letting them go on can become a national sickness of the Japanese soul.

I heard there are many lies in the history books of Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, etc. etc. Why not come clean everyone ? We're all supposed to be civilized.... or ... NOT ! *sweat & relief*

sounds they will have a talks about the matters after the meeting. but i think this time is not better for china.

2.jpaness prime minister never assure chinese of his heart consent to stop visiting
temple.

1. I don't believe our government will allow studnets demonstrate in Bejing on May 4 2005.(Another 1989 ><''')

2. You accidenttally made a intersting point---What about instead of visiting the yasukuni shrine, The japanese prime minister visit a temple to pray for the dead in the War.

the chinese violent demonstrations are valuble and seccesful to make the world understand what the chinese points on japan bid for a permanent seat on UN. i think it must go on not until japan give up the claim of the territory of taiyu islands.
in the contrast, japaness should make the people all over the world to believe that tiaoyu islands belong to japan by showing more evidences. it's better for japan but stop doing violent demonstration against chinese associations in japan. because violent protests is benefits for china but, the same for japan.

I dont see why he cannot visit the shine. Not allowing that would be ridiculous.

somebody dead who are the war criminal are also inside the shrine. if japan can remove the war criminal out of the shrine. so we have no objection to his visit.

Aparently that's theologically (or possibly spiritually) impossible.

Bit like asking the Italian government to de-canonize a saint.
