Why would I want to time travel to fight a war? If you are into travelling to a war there are wars in progress today for example Ukraine that you could participate in and some have.

Since I'm a woman I would probably not have been in the front lines. I would have probably been working at home and filling in for jobs that were needed.

I agree completely. Watching movies, reading books, etc., makes it easy to romanticize WWII, but war is hell. I don't want to fight in a war today if I don't absolutely have to. Why would that change for any other period of time, even when I know the eventual outcome in advance?

If I worked where they make flame throwers , I would sneak one out just for melting the snow in my driveway in the winter. I would not want to wear one in battle. One wrong hit with a bullet would blow you up in a giant flame.
