Hi everybody.
Sadly I don´t know japanese, but I love History. I am translating some parts of an old paper, which is hand written, but I have not able to identify some of the Kanjis.
Could anyone help me.
Any help would be welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Here they are:

1. 隘
2. 宝石家
3. 渡?(沐?)
4. 松江警
5. 今?(迄?)ノ

What are the preceding and following parts of those kanji? The context can be helpful to identify them.

Hi.

Thank you very much. Thanks to your help Toritoribe. I have been able to complete the list a little more.
They are part of an old military diary. I think they are battles and locations in which the guy took part.
He was an Army Artillery 1st Lieutenant (Kitamura Nobuyuki).

Here the list of battles and locations:

This is what I have managed to translate:
1 涿県保字 Zhuozhou (涿州)( タク州市)

2 で字ろ字廾北 で宝石家廾北 Gyeongbuk Korea

3 湖東会戦 Battle of Higashi (incidentes de Shinza) Next to the Tai lake (太湖)
4 南京追撃戦 Nanjing

5 杭州シよ Hangzhou

6 ギしにハるメ言備 松江警備

7 隘口街 (Wanjialing Campaing) 10/10/1938
8 徳安 De'an County(徳安縣城)( Jiujiang City jurisdiction in Jiangxi)

9 修水河守備 Xiushui River (in Jiangxi,)

10 修水波汗戦 修水渡沐戦

11 襄東会戦 suixian – zaoyang

I guess there are mistakes so if some one could check them I would be grateful.

On the other hand, Could anyone tell me about what is written in the next page?

The last picture is an admonitory lecture regarding the importance of artillery.

Being able to pick up similar kana/kanji from the dictionary is not enough to identify the correct kanji. You need to know the language including vocabulary and grammar to get the correct kana/kanji. For instance, 杭州シよ or ギしにハるメ言備 don't make sense at all, literally at all. It's totally gibberish, thus, it can't be correct. Needless to say, google translate is useless when the original Japanese is misread in the first place. I have to point out a fact again that it's totally impossible for you to read those books by yourself.

Yes, you are right. But I spend a little time doing that and it is quite funny.
Thanks again for your help.
