Mansoor has accepted they are neither but his argument seems to be that they are more like wolves than dogs.
It's a rather moot point of contention since they are distant relatives of both.

To make matters even more unclear, this site says their scientific name actually means painted wolf!

My purpose is not to persist on my theory, but I brought some evidences in my previous posts. Every type of beings has some particular signs that introduce its identity.

I remember my last travel from Shiraz was 15 years ago to Tehran for a personal job, and I also have never traveled oversea among Africa, but I journey and research through Windows!
