Yes,the animal in the second article is a species of wolf that lives somewhere in Africa, but I have not seen it where the (terminologically) wild dogs live.
I have a reliable clue that proves the African wild dog is truly a wolf, not dog.

It's neither a wolf nor a dog.
African wild dogs, scientifically known as Lycaon pictus, are neither true dogs nor wolves, despite their common names. They belong to the Canidae family, which includes both dogs and wolves, but they are classified under a different genus, Lycaon. This genus is unique, as the African wild dog is the only extant species within it, whereas domestic dogs, grey wolves, coyotes, and jackals fall under the Canis genus.
They share a distant common ancestor with wolves and domestic dogs, but diverged from them approximately 3 million years ago
African wild dogs cannot interbreed with any members of the Canis genus due to significant genetic differences

It seems so; nevertheless, they are closer to wolf species. There are proofs in this case (based on my study and analyzing their behaviors and manner of living), but one is more specific than the others.
Before I point to the main issue, I relate some of their characteristics:
1- They always live in the form of some packs like the gray wolves (not temporary or for a specific time).
2- They converse with each other with a particular sound, like tweeting, and don't bark like dogs.
3- They pursue the prey tirelessly for kilometers, like the gray wolves
4- When they walk threateningly or prepare to hunt (approach the prey soundlessly), they lower their heads close to the ground, bend their ears to back, and hunch over their back, just like the wolves.
But what distinguishes these creatures from dogs and simulates them to the wolves is:
When a dog bites prey and tries to tear off the body's prey, it violently moves its head to the left and right, but a wolf moves its head back and forth brutally. This is the most significant difference between a dog and a wolf.
The African wild dog does the same, so this shows, it is among the wolf's species.

Are you implying that the difference in species is behavioral rather than biological?
I was under the impression that at least part of the definition of separate species is that two animals cannot mate and produce viable/fertile offspring. I'm no expert in this matter, but assuming that what @mdchachi is correct, that would mean that they cannot be wolves by definition. Assuming, of course that my statement is also correct.

It's really simple: they are canines (along with dogs, wolves, jackals, foxes, etc.), share a common ancestor, and - as pointed out above - cannot interbreed.

I can neither confirm the theory nor deny it.
Sadly I have engaging with a persistent virus in my computer. It has led the system into "Blue Screen crash" frequently. I am trying to find it and I hope I am not forced to reinstall Windows that will be a troublesome process and waste my time, because I will have to install some other applications again.
There is a website named "Pinterest" that sends different pictures of websites to my mailbox. I sometimes visit some of the websites that are relevant to teaching English grammar or "how to speak English fluently". Two days ago I clicked on one of the pictures with the same purpose. The website was opened with inactive icons and afterward, my computer froze and crashed frequently. Now, I was not sure whether I could write this complete comment or not, and every moment I expected the Blue Screen" to appear while booting my computer took half an hour which was very annoying. Fortunately, it didn't happen up to now and I could write the comment.

Over the years I've had a lot of different computer protection programs. I have used Norton now for the last 20 years. So far it has saved me many times. I get a notice often that it blocked a virus. Sometimes when I try to save a picture , it blocks it for being dangerous. It seems easy to set up and use. The only thing I don't like about it is it trys to sell me addons to it for extra money.

Congratulation!
I could clean my computer with an online virus hunter called " Malwarebytes,", though I could not recognize the type or name of the virus. Nevertheless, the virus finder found 24 malwares in the memory and startup sections (the system files were clean).
I usually install free anti-virus versions that are not very equipped. The last one was a low version of Symantec. It was not complete, and now it is inactive. When I click on its scan button, I receive an error message. It has turned from green into red.
I frequently decided to remove and replace it with a better one, but the problem is that the version demands a code to be removed and I don't know what it is. I tried to find the code on the internet but my effort was in vain.
In fact, it is irremovable without the code and it is with me up to the time I have to reinstall the operation system.
It is an experience for me to be more careful about the issue.
Anyhow, the computer is working properly now, and I am happy that the overwhelming reinstalling of Windows and the other necessary applications was canceled.

No, probably 2009 or 2010, with an AMD motherboard, three core CPU, and 4 GB memory. Of course, I replaced its previous broken down motherboard with a second hand similar one. I bought it $ 8 and the seller sent me it through post from another city.

If you have Windows 10, you don't really need another antivirus programme. The inbuilt one in windows does it's job very well and having several active at the same time can actually cause more issues than good.
As for reinstalling Windows, I feel your pain. It's a lot of work and takes quite a bit of time - I have, myself, made a wiki page complete with bullet points of all the things I have to remember to do since I like to tinker a bit with my installation.
Glad you got it sorted without having to reinstall!

Four GB is kinda wild. Even iPads can go up to 2 TB.

I think you're mixing up storage with memory. Ipads can have TBs of storage but not RAM, that's still in the GB range. And in Mansoor's case, he's is talking about RAM. You are not wrong, though, 4GB RAM isn't much in this day and age but loads of people still have older models of PCs. Not everyone needs the specs of a high-end gamer PC.

Well, I finally had to reinstall Windows 10 and the necessary apps during these two days!
At this point, a question arises: "Why do African wolves have big ears?"
The logical and scientific answer is that the big ears act as coolers for the wild dogs' bodies, preventing their temperature from rising above the natural warmth in the hot deserts of Africa.
You may wonder, if that's the case, why aren't the ears of African lions as big as those of wild dogs?
The reason is that the hunting methods of lions are different. Lions ambush their prey and run after them at short distances, while wild dogs tirelessly chase their prey for kilometers. During this long pursuit, the wild dogs' body temperature rises significantly, and their big ears help reduce it.
You might also ask about cheetahs, the fastest runners in the world that chase agile preys. Cheetahs can run very fast, but only for short distances and a few minutes.
Hyenas also have big ears, although smaller than wild dogs. They occasionally pursue prey, but they cannot run long distances like wild dogs.
Antelopes and similar animals also have large ears not only to be alerted to the presence of predators but also because they can run long distances.

As I mentioned, I've personally visited the Painted Dog Sanctuary in Zimbabwe, that focuses specifically on rescuing, rehabilitating, and studying these animals. They share common ancestors with other canines, but are not themselves wolves and are a unique species of their own. But why let someone else's expertise get in the way of your uninformed theory?
edit: for the record, the expertise is not my own, but the people I've met who have dedicated their careers to studying this species and dispelling myths about them.
