I can´t see what all the fuss is all about "relationships" like this don´t harm anyone ,the two nimrods willing to just jump into something like that have their time of bliss ,thinking their dreams will actually come true and some film production company somewhere around the world is bound to make a b-movie based on their story.

One thing amazes me though...what on earth is this obsession with "Japanese" men/women?

I can't understand these girls/guys that are so determined to get an Asian guy. I would understand if it was a purely sexual thing, something that they grew to like through different experiences in their lives. But when a 15 year old American/European girl "decides" that she wants to have a Japanese boyfriend, it seems like a phase. Almost like some sort of j-fan trend. When a teenager says it, I can't take them seriously, because they are still trying to find their identity and trying to be different.

I find it strange that nobody declares their undying love for black/indian/arab men or women. It's no different. So why is it so much with Japanese men/women?

Don't get me wrong, I do find Asian guys really attractive (at least the ones I've seen on TV, that are in bands etc - I'm sure Japanese people would be disappointed moving to America expecting to see a country full of Angelina Jolie's and Brad Pitt's!!). But I would never move to Japan JUST to find a guy. And I would never reject an incredible guy because he's not Japanese/Chinese/Korean etc. In fact my partner of 6 years is English, light brown hair and grey/blue eyes. His looks are very un-Asian, but I still find him attractive.

Because they lack the mental capacity to comprehend that an asian person, however good looking, will hardly solve any of their problems unless said person has some additional positive traits that accompany his androgynous frame.

And I am not being racist here, the above comment only refers to the wet dream of most fangirls.

Tell me about it...I had a 15 year-old one on me for almost three years (although I finally managed to get rid of her).

Just the thought of the age difference made me feel grossed out...

Personally, I also do like Caucasian girls' look, having grown up in France and having spent 2 years in America and England, but that's it...

That's because your not associating with Asians.

There are many Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino etc who prefer to date only black, white or whatever. This forum is just not related to them.
