how to remember the kanji??

hello everyone!!!
I'm a new member in this forum! どうぞよろしく！
A line about myself: My name is Liav, I'm 16 years old and I'm from Israel (so I may have some language mistakes so please correct me if I do...).:sorry:
now to my question: what is the best way to learn kanji?:?
I mean in what order: to learn just the writing and meaning WITHOUT all the kum yumi and on yumi or learn it all?:?
and how many should I learn per day?
and after that, how can I remember all the 1951 kanji?

I always maintain the best way to learn kanji is *as part of the language* -- that is, as vocabulary. Forget readings, forget kanji lists. Learn kanji as *words* as they come.

Kanji do not exist in isolation, and they should not be studied in isolation.

so you mean I juat have to learn how to write any kanji and it's meaning WITHOUT learn the on / kun yumi??

so how will I know how to say that word?

You're learning the WORD. If you can read the word, you KNOW the word.

People really put too much emphasis on "readings." Forget "readings." Just learn WORDS.

oh...
so if I know that 一人 is HITORI so I dont hane to remember that 一 can be read HITO(TSU) or ICHI and 人 can be read jin, nin etc.?

and... how many kanji do you recommend to learn per day / week?

Again. STOP thinking about "learning kanji."

Learn JAPANESE. Learn words as they come. Learn five words a day? You learn how to spell them properly. You're then ahead of the pack.

I knew Hebrew *sort of* when I was *WAY* younger. All I can manage now is "good morning" and "have a nice weekend." Oh, I think I can order beer and get slapped by a waitress. Sadly, that's about it. Languages are like tools. If you don't use them for a long time, they go all rusty and fall apart.
