How to approach Japanese women?

I overlooked this statement and would like to add a question here for you greentea, did you read this thread;

yea,did you also read the "What do you dislike about Japan" thread? funny how "discrimination against foreigners" is the #1 thing most people in this board dislike about Japan.Obviously my 'assumptions' are not too off base.

I was at Disneyland about a month ago and this American lady offered to let these 2 Japanese girls cut in line because she was going to leave,and the Japanese girls like didnt say thanks or anything,in fact they would barely even look at the lady! Its just so rude!

I think they just didn't know how to react appropriately. It may seem rude to us but you gotta put yourself in their shoes and think for a second.

You have to understand many Asian people are not as open minded as westerners when it comes to opening up themselves to outsiders (people other than their family members or close friends). Hell when I first come to North America I was scared shitless whenever I have to interact with any English speaking person (partly because I couldn't speak any English at all).

Dig a little bit deeper and you'll find out the reasons behind some of the "traits" you have observed on Japanese girls, it's not because they are just "Japanese".

Well there are alot of beautiful Asian women out there,I dont think there is anything worng in admitting that.I will also admit that I prefer Asians,however I am not like one of those bafoons who come in here and say "AsiAnS r HoT" and treat them like sex objects.I think thats just lame,I agree with you.

My friend just came back from Japan,and he said that most Japanese women (when they date outside thier race) prefer to go for black guys.Have you noticed that too? or is he wrong?

Funny thing is, My girlfriend is Vietnamese and was born in Vietnam. Her three other sisters all have African American boyfriends. Ive only been to Vietnam once, so I never really got the chance to observe this phenomena, if it even is one.

On the other note, I notice a good deal of American Asians with African American males. But this isnt specifically Japanese women, so I feel as if i'm rambling now.....

I can only report what my eyes saw while in Japan, which was this. I saw one couple where the man was black. I saw more, not a lot, where the men were white. Honestly though without hearing them speak or talking with them I don't know what the nationalities of either member of the "couple" were and if they were a romantic couple or just friends. I am assuming a lot just on visual cues only. What I saw the most were Japanese couples.

Huh?! When I saw a Japanese girl/woman with a non-Japanese male, the guys were white. I didn't see any Japanese women with black males on my trip to Japan last month. Where did this notion come from?

If this were true, you'd be seeing white males putting on Al Jolson make-up.

From my experience, they tend to date guys that have an interest in Japan and the language, and hence come to Japanese student parties. (Japanese love holding parties) If you're really serious, you've got to be cool. You come across as very shallow on the forum -- I'm not criticizing you for thinking Asian women are attractive. A lot of men agree. But if you want to date one, it really helps if you get involved with their community and earn their respect first.

Yeah but I thik the problem White guys come across when they meet girls in Japan is that you dont really know if shes really into you or if she wants to come to America.I know there are alot of Japanese girls out there who dont do that sort of thing,but some do,and it would be something in the back of my mind.

I stand by that,I really dont find white people attractive.If I did,I would date them and wouldnt want to only date Asians right? lol I dunno,whites in general to me are not cute.Maybe thats why I have low self esteem?
