Homework help please - many kanji that i don't know in a text

Well, I guess I couldn't expect any support, since the people who answered probably didn't work and study at the same time. It's a bit ironic to call someone who tries do find the time for exams too while working lazy. If I was lazy, I would be here every other day begging for the ''cheating'' help (it's not cheating when everyone else here does the same, I guess), and not twice a year, which was when I really needed some help. I guess no one would say ''Do it yourself'' if I offered to pay, to give a part of my earnings because I can't do everything myself. Everyone would be like ''I want to help you with it''. Oh, then it wouldn't be even cheating probably.

I worked when I was a student. I paid my own rent, and I did my own damn work, too. I didn't realise I deserved a medal for it.

There are certainly people who post more frequently than you seeking help. But without exception they are not dumping a page of text on us and demanding a transcription of it (in most cases they are also not posting coursework as they are self-studying). If you'd made your best jab at it and come up with half a dozen words you couldn't figure out by yourself, I'm sure somebody would have helped you. Somebody still might, if you'd come down off that high horse and show us you're capable of putting at least a little effort in. Surely you've had time to attempt some of it over the past couple of days?

I would be more likely to go to her workplace and work her shift for her so she could do the assignment than I would be to do her assignment for her so she can go to work.

I'm all in favor of "helping" people, but I really don't like helping people who don't know the difference between "help me do this" and "do this for me". Over the years we have had a lot of people like that, but most of them realize the difference between the two when it is pointed out. The OP, on the other hand, just shifts her entitlement mentality into overdrive and stomps on the gas.

Tries to make a mockery out of her own education*, justifies it with everybody-does-it, and then gets indignant and tries to lay a guilt trip on us for not facilitating it for her.

*(Let us not forget that in her original post the assignment was to translate an article....and she wanted us to type it up in a word document she could run through an online translator. Both the first and subsequent assignments were to develop skills looking up kanji, as well as doing the translation. She wanted to skip the kanji lookup by having us input them for her. The translation was probably headed for Google or babelfish).

I think the issue here is how "help" is defined.

If I asked you to help me build a new house, no doubt you would expect me to do most of the work.
You probably wouldn't be too happy when I hand you the blueprints and tell you I expect it done in a month.
