I'm a 57 year old Iraq vet and amature military historian. This flag was brought back by my friends grandfather, I have rescued it to preserve.

I think the top slogan starts with Good Luck?

That's a souvenir for US soldiers, not an authentic yosegaki flag. All, or at least almost all signatures were written by the same hand.
