I don't know if the OP is still checking this thread, but I have additional info.
According to our resident musician, brutality death metal is normally called ブルータル・デスメタル , or ブルデス for short (mentioned previously) in Japanese. There is no kanji name associated with the genre.
However, if you are interested in a kanji tattoo, he suggested something like 残忍鋼鉄 (zannin-koutetsu), an artificial kanji combination to suggest "brutal (zannin)" and "(hard) steel (koutetsu)."
If you insist on adding "east-west," you may add 東西 to precede "zannin-koutetsu," but don't expect anyone to understand that.
