Help with moving to Japan

Sorry all if you guys misunderstood what i said. i did not say your comments are mean, i said to her "Everyone comments on this forum may seem mean."

i'm reading it from her view and she might have think all these question you guys are asking her is to make it seem like she not ready for Japan. When she need to know, these question is to make her re-think everything and to plan better before going/moving to Japan.

The questions were to find out if she is eligible to come live in Japan. Unfortunately, many people think they can just up and move to any country on earth just because they want to. Japan is one of the more restrictive countries; in general you either have to have Japanese relatives or fulfill some need of a Japanese business in order to get in.

She was mostly irked that we're answering her questions right now when she thinks she won't need the answers for a few years yet. Perhaps she expected us to mark our calendars and answer her question in 2018 or something.

I have a question for you:

What were you talking about regarding school visits? What was supposed to come from her just walking up to random schools and colleges and asking to see the facilities?

She is ticked that she can't find info more current than a couple of years, yet she is making plans for when she starts and finishes university and becomes fluent enough in Japanese to suit them...at which time everything we have told her may be just as outdated, if not more so.

And ticked that we didn't wait a few years to answer her questions. Sadly, I can't help but think that very little of what we were trying to tell her actually got through to her.

She seemed more concerned about her kitty cat and how her child would do on the plane ride than about anything of a genuine practical nature.

Have we yet had even one poster like this who eventually actually made themselves visa-eligible and moved here? I know we've spent a lot of time kissing figurative frogs but I don't recall having found any princes yet.

I think it might be a good idea if western countries implemented a policy of telling people contemplating dropping out of school that they won't be able to move to Japan later on....

It was just _____. All I did was _____. It wasn't my fault; I had bad companions......so Japan should make a special exemption in my case, don't you think? (The belief that the Japanese government is somehow obliged to conform what we say is similarly universal, apparently).
