I found this old document inside an old military paybook, and I have no idea what it could be.
Could somebody help me with this?. I am really intrigued.
The right end column looks like 向隝西村御年貢米正札. 向隝(=島)西村 Mukaishimanishi mura was a village in Hiroshima, the present 広島県尾道市 Onomichi city, Hirosima prefecture. The problem is 御年貢米 "rice paid as tax". This term is usually used in Edo period, but Mukaishimanishi village was established in Meiji 22. Hmm.
