OK!
I finally got it registered and bid on the item! I am the current high bidder. Yay!!!!
I am just afraid that since I do not have any "feedback" yet the seller might be weary and cancel my bid or something, so I made sure to send him an e-mail.
Here is what I sent him (using altavista translate service) I hope he understands
- Yohan
I included the original english version just in case the seller actually speaks english..
Hello, First, I apologize for my bad Japanese. I do not speak Japanese. I have been searching for two years for the item you are selling and I have opened a Yahoo JAPAN account only for this reason. I just want to let you know, that even though I do not yet have appraisal, I am an honest and trustworthy buyer and will pay in full at auction end. Please let me know if you speak english, as that would make it so much easier for me. And again, I want to thank you for listing the item. Owning these glasses would be like a dream come true for me. Thank you! -Yohan
If anyone thinks that the translated version is non-understandable, would it be possible to make a quick translation of my letter to him ? (Ill send another one in that case) I Would greatly appreciate it.
Also, if someone could take a few minutes and skim through the FAQ ( I think it is this:
Yahoo! JAPAN ID
and see what the policies are about entering contact information would be? Yahoo japan did not ask for my address or name or contact info, etc. when I registered so I want to fill that in if there is an appropriate place to do so.
sorry for all the questions and stuff, I just want to make sure I win the darned thing.
and thanks in advance to all of you! (especially you Mikawa, thank you!)
