Welcome to Jref. There are some interesting discussions here. Even though I am an old person I responded to your post because I made two visits to Singapore in 1975-76 while I was stationed aboard the USS Midway. My two favorite places there were Tiger Balm Gardens and the Botanical Gardens. Even here in the USA I can sometimes find Singapore-style rice noodles in Chinese restaurants.

I still have some vinyl J-rock albums, but they are all relatively old music.
