Hi! :27: I'm really excited to join this forum and hope to learn many things here and hope to make friends.
Japan is my passion. :13:
I've loved anime since I was a little girl, but really got into it since the age of 13. ("Naruto" is my favorite.) Through anime and research over the past 8 years my love for Japan has grown. I just fell in love with every aspect of the country and its people. And I recently have begun learning the language.
I'm currently saving up money to go on a six month, Christian missionary trip to Tokyo. And my dream for the future is to be an English teacher in Japan while doing missionary work there. :154:
I also cosplay. (lol) Here's me as Konan from "Naruto Shippuden" and Rock Lee.

On the topic of that, it's your life, but I would ask you to deeply consider the idea of traveling half-way around the world to let the natives know they are living their lives wrong.

It's great that you like Japan, the language, anime, etc, but really, there is nowhere on earth that people want to meet people who knock on their door to let them know they will be burning in Hell. Or meet them handing out pamphlets on the street. Or any variation. When Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons knock on my door, I politely tell them no thank you, but my true feelings are substantially more aggressive.

Come to Japan, enjoy the culture and the people, and keep the missionary stuff to yourself. My personal opinion. Christianity is no more true than any other religion on the planet, and there is no benefit to Japanese by learning it.

You're young, so travel a while, and learn from other cultures before you start telling them your personal 'truth'. Have fun!
