Has Appleseed Movie Hit Theatres In Japan?

ive spied a couple of sites, but i cant find a definitive answer on whether its been released yet.. anyone know if it has or has not?

yeah..it's allready licenced though...so no downloads I suppose...anyways, I asked a friend to bring it back from Japan

yea i saw the trailer, but no one could tel me whether or not it had actually been released, the trailer indicated april, but i havnt asked about it from retailers because its production was halted half-way through making. so i didnt know if it was actually released. finally i will find solice, shirow is my fav. and the original oav was not on par with his work. didnt do it justice at all.... so thanks for the replies, i know where to order it, i collect all his stuff, so i will have to own the dvd
