Hello to everyone! I've been interested in Japanese culture for several years, and in the past year have started to learn a little of the language. I'm also looking forward to an upcoming vacation to Japan in March, and will probably be pestering people with my questions.

The snow here in the Japan Alps is hanging in there, with more reinforcements today--another 10 cm. It's as cold as...Mars...here now (well, almost) but by March...it'll be much better. I've held some outdoor BBQs at my house here in the mountains in March, so..
