Hey everyone,
Matt here. I've been enamoured with Japanese culture for a long time and finally got a chance to go to Japan this past summer. I've learned a little Japanese in the past year, and that tripmad me realize the mountain that I have to climb to get to proficiency with the language. Anyway, I live in the US - New Jersey, and have taken a few language classes at the Japan Society in NYC (highly reccomended if you live nearby). So, the trip to Japan was kind of a turning point in my life...made me go back to school & finish my BA so I can return to Japan to get a job and live out my days in a truly civilized country.
