Galsoops posts new photos of Ko-gals twice a month (So they do exist you just must have been at the wrong place at the wrong time and/or never in front of 109,) , speaking of Galsoops tho, they just updated their Oct #2 , check it out (it's a lot more toned down, a lot saner.)

I remember they had cartoons like that too. But still for the love of mangos one of those girls gave me nightmares...
After seeing those pictures, I feel the urge to run away screaming.
When thinking of Japan, I don't think of Christina Spears-esque, pop, preppy, clown-make-up-covered, like, totally, oh my God, for real, like, seriously-girls.
...Is the stupidity of my country really spreading to Japan? That'd be a shame. If it keeps up, in about 100 years, the prime minister of Japan will be an action-hero actor superstar. With big muscles and a trillion dollars. And an Austrian/Hungarian/whatever accent. And the president of mine will be a contest winner. Which was televised on Fox.

It reminds me of that one Saturday Night Live episode with Eddie Murphy in the skit "White like me," where he makes himself over as a white man and sees the different treatment he gets....
Where Eddie's skit shows some inventive ways to get ahead in the world, the Ganguro gals I feel have gone the other way.....

Excellent episode den4. These girls can be scary. I saw one just the other day here in Novi. That is a city in the detroit metro area with a high Japanese population. I was set quite aback.

I know this wasn't a good movie, but has anyone seen duce biggalo, male jiggalo? There's a scene where this African american guy is actually white and he looked like a puppet.

I guess the latest trends are using galmoji on their cell phones...but watching today's news, even that is old hat...now...
Can't wait for the new trend to come out for the attention deficit youths:

With this new pattern, peepo will be sending fragmentary sentences using gal/guy moji and combining it into engrish so that even native engrish speakers won't be able to deciper the code without the secret decoder ring found in specially marked packages of cereal boxes, and by using funky virtual pets of the no longer fashionable Tamagotchi days, they'll have a new neo-fashionable trendy gadget to amaze their friends and confuse all of the adults around the world...
Then, set it to the funky lyrics of Danceman, the Weird Al of Japan, they'll be able to go into covert missions for the US State Dept and Japan's SDF forces into regions considered dangerous because nobody will understand what they are relaying except for those individuals themselves and no hacker will be able to break the code, since the variants will change by the hour, like most J-fashion trends do....
Ok....maybe I've just gone off the deep end...but that's ok....can't be any worse than any other young person in J-land right now....

although you do have to tolerate a lot of disco tunes, though...
