This is the first topic I visit on this forum, and what do I see first?
Gackt, my dear Gackt is planning on leaving the stage :x Searching for further informations, this is pretty much all I've got:

Ay, I was listening to Last Song at like, midnight, when I came across this article +__+ Forgetting my maths and all, I tried to translate it using only my dictionnary, and that's when I found the english version. I can't remember which one, but it was in a Japanese celebrity newspaper. I almost cried +__+ Night always succed into letting out my sensible self.

Man -__- He'd better...Get better! And stick on to music...Or esle, what will happen to S.K.I.N?

I have no idea what S.K.I.N are up to atm. It's ridiculas. I heard a while back that they were recording in LA so an album should be on its way soon. I think Yoshiki's a bit busy with his whole X reunion and the film scores he's doing.
sakurayuki - It's 再会〜Story (Saikai) that gets me... in my opinion his best slow song.

Steptochio - awww I'm sure he will be around longer than we think. We've got until 2010 definately and even after that I'm sure he wont disapear off the face of the musical world.

One thing is sure: S.K.I.N will be simply Epic.

Sakurayuki: Ay, ay, Vanilla is the best XD! Nah, just fooling around. Fragrance. I keep on hearing this one in my dreams, along with Last Song.

CharismaticDeath: Gackt is the only musical artist who really drew me deep deep into his music. I can't explain the feeling, but I fell in love with the voice as soon as I've heard it... Then the lyrics...Some are simply astonishing. When I knew what each song meant...
I found it incredible.

Hell, that's why I won't be able to listen to music anymore if he really does leave the stage. I swear.

oh nooooooooes!!!! that's so sad! maybe he means just live tours??? wishful thinking?? BUT HE CANT LEAVE!!! ...i guess it IS better than him still thinking he's all that at like 60, but still... gackt is the one that got me into jrock... hell, the one that got me into MUSIC IN GENERAL... and though im not as rabid a fan as i once was, i would still probably kill puppies for him... i understand completely what you mean, steptochio... that how he is for me, too, and the only other band that has EVER come remotely close to how deeply i felt his music is Dir en grey... seriously though, the emotions are so clear in his music that i was able to get a translation of the lyrics in my head down to the word without looking them up online... and i dont speak japanese at all...

like charas said, they is time though, and hopefully he'll forget? yesh? ;_; but i would be crying if i were in a less weird mood...

Gackt said, that he will see if he can go on after 2010 and he feels like going on, then he will.
And People, WE HAVE STILL 2 MORE YEARS OF GACKT, so LET'S ENJOY THOSE 2 YEARS AS MUCH AS WE CAN!!
And, you have to understand Gackt. He did so much in his live, sure that he gets tired one day and stops doing music. That's normal, people can't do music until they die.
They have to take a break after all the work.
Gackt is strong and at the Moment he can work on. But one day it all will be too much for him, so he will go off from the stage and live the life he missed during doing music.
You have to understand him.
Sure i will be sad when he suddenly stops doing music, but i can understand him. It's a hard Life that Musicians live. And if Gackt things that he has to stop doing music, then i will accept and respect his decision.

I agree we have to make the most of these two years... I'm sure he'll continue writing (I feel I've already said this) but perhaps not perform as much. I really really hope though, that I get to see him before he does leave the stage.
 
I hope no one minds me asking this, but what is the name of the silver jewelery Gackt wears mostly - I have a friend who really admires the guy and I thought of getting some of the jewelery he wears for her birthday?
I would love it if someone knew as it would really make my night.
 
Erm I don't know the name of the brand he wears, but if you type his name into ebay you can usualy get some stuff very similar, if not replicas.
 
Thank you so much, pipokun. I had an idea it would be Japanese jewelery, and I must admit some of it reminds me of the Final Fantasy stuff he wore a good while back. It's very gothic looking and I do like that!
I remember a photo of Gackt wearing his Squall outfit and thought he looked really cool and distinguished.

Li-Chen - I think Gackt did say he had another album coming out yes. And a world tour, perhaps. Don't quote me on either of these however... I'm remembering and may be remembering wrong. I can't remember where I read it.

As for SKIN I heard they were recording an album in LA... but so far no news of a release date!
