I've remember there was a video about him fainting *searches for it*
Here i've found it ^^

Probably he will retire in 2007, not that i want him too but... He is not so young anymore (even if he does look younger on the pictures) and it takes him more energy to do what he does. He pushes himself to hard. Maybe he should like make a pause for a while and recover a bit. But he's like never going to do that.

the rumour is because of the gravestone ... but maybe this is just because of the radical changes ☝

Hummm, I don't think that Gackt faints after every show... I know that he did at least one time, and live shows are always demanding, but I don't think there's actually any concrete evidence that it always happens - this is just my opinion but I think it gets blown up out of proportion by some fans, because they are concerned about him of course, but really it is only a hearsay.

Also, Gackt seems to be the kind of person who takes quite good care of his health, and if he doesn't have his health he can't continue to work, so I think he would be more careful than to allow that to happen often. :joyful:

I also think the retirement thing is because of the gravestone... it doesn't seem like he has plans to retire... although we won't know until the year arrives. =/

(Maybe Dutch Baka or someone can merge this thread so there is only one Gackt thread? because I think there's already a thread for him around here! )

Gackt fainted more than once. I've got some pictures of him fainting. Three different outfits!!! And of course the video.
He doesn't care about his health. He doesn't eat, drink and sleep enough. There's nothing healthy in his lifestyle. It's so sad

MM.-.. I think he does take care of his health, but, as i said before, he's just overworked and then, it doesn't matter what you do, if you don't take a break you'll crash down. Bruce Lee, we could mention. I just hope he's alright. My world can't be the same if he goes away just like that. He has still a bright future, but he keep going on like that, he won't reach it, don't you think?

About the thread, well, I told her that in the beggining, but it's hard to ignore for a person who just cant get enough gackt so far!!!

Let's just support him and pray for his health, because, apparently, great minds (cientist, musitians, writers, painters.. artist in general) tend to die early and many times awfully.

Well I didnt heard Gackt since he was in Malice Mizer, but I have heard many MM songs, and I think they really rock hehe.

Gackt was one of the first J-Rockers I met, and I really like most of his songs, my favourite ones are Emu-for my dear-, love letter, kimi ni aitakute, last song, and well I wont finish if i metion all of them.

Unfortunatley I only own one single album Diabolos and it was so f*** expenssive, but I think it was one of the best buys Ive ever made, I like that album very much, I cant chose my favourite sing since I enjoy all of them.

I've seen that video where Gackto San is fainting, but I agree with Lady Blue, he works really really hard, and sometimes his body cant resist so much work and stress, but I DO think he takes care of his health, if not I dont think he would be able to work THAT hard!!

Among all things I really admire him, I mean where in earth can u find such a great artist? he's beautiful, he writes awsome music and lyrics, he plays the piano beautifuly (dunno if that word really exists XD), he's funny, has a great personality, well he's almost perfect!!!! so well yeah he's one of my favourite J-Rockers ^_^

Yeah is true de human body can resist a lot of hard work, but it is also true that it is a whole machine, and if something goes wrong such as an unbalanced feeding, lack of sleep and stress, sooner or later your body wont resist, because your inmunology system will decrease and you will get sick. And this is very difficult because a simple flu may become a serious disease; because your antibodies wont be as strong as they should be and wont be able to fight againts the antigens.

That's why I think, eventhough Gackto San works harder than he should he MUST take care of his health.

Sorry about this long post I hope I express my point correctly....I think I didnt make any sense

You did, and you're right. Besides, is impossible to see that body, that skin and that presence on stage and still insist on somebody not taking care of his health.
You know, JoruDenna? I was going to buy Diabolos in Monterrey, cos a friend told me he saw it there, but that I should save some money. I asked why and he answered me: Cos it costs almost 500. So.. hell no!! How am I going to spend 500 pesos on that?? I decided to risk and got it on the web for 28 dlls, shipping includded. That's more acceptable. And I received it in 4 weeks from Japan!! i was astonished. Now I really like this page, and I'm just waiting for a new full album from Gackt to preorder!!
Now i know Monterrey is ridicoulously expensive, especially Mixup-

Anyway, back to gackt. I think there are very few jrockers on scene that could do what Gackt does. Those musicians are big in their carreers and on life, and you can tell. Let's be real, Gackt is not like "handsome", (God bless the man the invented Photoshop), but what he is inside is what comes out from every pore. This goes far down than plastic surgery, make up and illumination, he IS beautiful and that's why we love him. Of course, he's human and makes dumb things every once in awhile, but that just makes him human AND cute!!

OMG!!! 500 pesos??? thats a lot I tell yah!! I bought it in New York a few weeks after it came out it was 35 dollars!!! still a little expensive but 500 pesos??? that's way too much!! yeah Monterrey is expensive ☝ , Im from Mexico City and found a lil shop where they sell lots of animes and found Gackt's Diabolos album in 150 pesos!! but Im almost sure it isnt original hehe

Nah is ok to talk a lot I do too lol, but yeah, Gackt is definetly beautiful from the inside, he has such a great personallity, I love him for that! he's funny, polite, talented dunno too many positive things in one single person, and of course been dorky sometimes makes him human and really cute!!! I really hate does artists such as Luis Miguel LOL who are "handsome" but eeewww not nice persons at all!!! so yeah Gackto Rules!!!

Hi!! sorry for not being here... i went on trip, sorry well i've got to say that im suprised! many people had replied, thanks!!! for other side, its kinda true what some of you said... he's not a young boy anymore, he's getting old even if he doesn't shows it, he needs serious rest, and i personally will support him if he does, i don't want him to retire, but we love our Gakuto and we don't want him to be sick ne?
something else... someone said that will start listening to Gackt, i think it's a great idea... you'll be suprised for the way he can twist the sound of one song and make it totally different from another, his variety might make you like him... so his voice and his look, fo me Gackt its like a whole package of talent, beauty and creativity...

I know there's many Gackt threads, but its just that i dont find people talking about what I wanna talk about, also i just wanted to let you know that even if he's retiring he needs rest, and theres fans that just don´t let him go... i know that the people here really cares about him, but for some he's just to listen, and if he retired they will just look for a new one... i don't know you guys but i see Gackt like more than an artist, he has given us great songs, songs that maybe have meaning for us, unforgetable songs, he's many people's favorite singer, and we love him, he means a lot to me, because when my lil' sister died all i listened was him, and my sister liked him so much... for me he's the greatest person on EARTH!!!! *cries of happyness* sorry if im too fluffy...

WAAAA Ive been so emotional latley that I almost cried with your post I know Im lame lol

Anyways, well you dont have to thank us for replying, is a pleasure to talk abpout Gackt, at least for me it is since, like I said before, he was one of the first Jrockers I met. I'm more into harder music, like Gazette or D'espairs Ray, but I have to admit that Gackt San won my heart since the first time I listened to him, I know many ppl might say he's Jrock, but he's not THAT rock, still being kinda pop doesnt mean he's plastic or anything, he's great, his songs are beautiful, I can cry or feel nostalgic with every different song. Is awsome the way he manages to transmit different feelings and emotions through each song, his body language, everything seems so perfect.

So yeah I like and admire him very much, and as you said, if he wants to retire ( I hope not) or wants to have a break and rest is ok! I support him too, he deserves it, and I hope all his fans understands he has worked very very hard and every now and then artists need a break!

Not making sense at all AGAIN lol wonder why I always get lost in my explanations ☝

No, you're absolutely right! It is real fans who want what is best for the artist, rather than what's nice for them.

I had an impression that Gackt looked after his health because I read in his autobiog how he did training and stuff (for fighting) so it seemed like he took care of his health for that. But maybe I got a wrong impression. In any case, he should definitely take care of himself.

Its cool that people think the way i do, im really happy now because to read all you guys it's like im not alone in this, for me Gackt deserves the whole galaxy, hes a great person, an awesome singer and makes people from all around the globe get together, it doesn`t matter if still theres people that don't get along with Asian culture or is just that they don't want to try it, he don't know us, but he knows that we ARE here!!! and that we love him... thanks a lot for supporting me, as i said, Gackt has become a part of my life, a piece of it, and that piece its growing more and more everyday, im so glad cuz all the people that listened to me (well, readed) are supporting me cuz they feel like me... Yeah, im really not into latin music (even living in latinamerica) but i guess that if Gackt sings something that i don't like, then i'll love it!! not because is Gackt, but because him makes every kind of music sound good ne?
And he will look good doing it.... he's the most versatile (is that the word? i dunno) person making music, he tries new souns and new effects always, and that's why you never get tired of listening him....

Allow an outsider to post a random thought really quick. I just bought the game Dirge Of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, and found out that Gackt sings the two theme songs in it (I'm way behind, huh?). "Redemption" and "Longing". Anyone heard these and know if they're any good? Really hoping they are.

Redemption keeps along with the sound of Diabolos, very rockish and stylish on his video, and Longing as well, but this one has a bit of the videogame style, specially in that part with the organ and people screaming... I guess he wanted to keep the motion of the Dirge. They're both very good, actually.
