Gackt

AWGH he will not disappear. this is his life - no way hes gonna disappear!! and if he tried to, he'd be back in a year, with a "retirement sucks" tour ^^ and i can think of many better things to do to his cute *** (and other parts of him) that would convince him to stay

We should flood his myspace with 'WE NEED OUR DRUG!!!' posts until he tours again ^_^.

yaaaahh!!!!!!!!!!! lets do it!!! were doing that to Duel Jewel's fanmail to get them to come back to the USA (link below in the sig if youre interested) and so far out of two days no success... lests do it for gackt also!!

Haha...maybe we should calm down a bit. The man hasn't actually retired yet. ^^ And you know....not to sound really weird, but if I think about it, I wouldn't actually mind it if he did. >_> As much as I would miss him, of course...I would be so ridiculously happy to know that he was finally taking care of himself!!

I, too, would love it if he took care of himself, but I don't think that that would happen even if he did retire. He would still be awake twenty-two hours out of the day...he wouldn't be singing and performing, sure, but he passes out even when he isn't touring.
And who knows what kind of hobby he would take up with all that time on his hands ^_^. Maybe he is safer when he has GacktJOB members to yell at him for not taking care of himself....

@DotheRenhop: I dunno...he is aware of the fact that the has bad health, so I think that if he stops singing it will be at least partially for that reason. He isn't going to give up as long as he still has a goal, but I don't think that he just has fun being in pain constantly. >_< You should see, there were just a few entires of his diary from a long time ago that I found translated. Every. Single. Entry. he had some mention of being sick, being tired, passing out frequently or how his physical condition was still bad. That was in...2002. >_> Eight years later even he might know that it's time to quit. And I'm sure that Gacktjob will always be around. ^_^ He hasn't gotten rid of You for the last...16 years? (I soooo know I did that math wrong >_<)

There aren't many JRock artists that I know alot about. Are there many of them like Gackt, with all of the fainting after concerts and never sleeping and such? In You's blog once he described Gackt as "The Origin of Insomnia."

Miyavi, certainly... look at the bags on his eyes!!!! (Kyo on the other hand, describes being able to fall asleep instantly in any setting as his talent)
i doubt his health would make him give up singing. look at Yoshiki. he's pretty much falling apart, his body cant take the abuse he puts it through, but he keeps going. he's 44. VK is a lifelong sorta thing. you dont quit cuz of your health.

ooooh gods, please, dont mention him... whenever i think of all the plastic surgery he's had i get very very very very scared...

it's true tho, I mean, he looks horrible, his health is horrible and he's still on stage.

Gacchan should do what's best for him and his health and I think he's old and clever enough to know that and to decide the right thing. Still I wish I could see him live but that's never going to happen *sigh*

never say never. he just might go to germany, you never know.

although i have more chance to see Gacchan on the subway on my way to work than i do to see him live.

dont say that, it seems like Gacchan is moving towards america lately. On his myspace too, the links there say "for USA" not "for Europe" -.-

-_-" like i could AFFORD it... the cost is probably going to be astronomical... T-T and since i have night class instead of day school, i will get in trouble for cutting class, and attempted rape.
it would be incredibly awesome to see him live. i would probably be like....
:')

ow same here, even if he came to germany it would be in one of the big cities here and the next big city (the city where concerts usually are) is 3 hours by train and the train tickets are feckin expensive and then I couldnt get home at night and all... but if he really came here, I wouldnt care... I'd sleep in the trainstation if I had to *lol*

you have night classes? so you can never go out?

well, i can cut. and i have no school on friday-sunday, and we end classes sooner than day school... but it's from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm... so it does not leave much opportunity for going out... usually i go and walk around with my friends from the night class until 11:00 pm or so and then go home and sleep until 6:00 am... and then work... -_-" no life at all... not to mention that most venues are for people 18 and over and i am not going to be 18 until december... T-T depressing, no??

oh boy so youre very busy with work and school. But hey december isnt that far away so after that you can party alot

Ugh, they're all so foolish. >_> Well...I had hoped that there was some chance of Gackt not just dying of exhaustion on stage some day, but I suppose we'll just have to see. n.n

I just tell myself not to think about how much the concerts will cost. The second I get a job, I swear I am not spending a penny on anything other than putting it all into savings for either seeing Gackt in concert when he comes here, or getting myself over to Japan. >_<

Well, I looked the it up again, and it seems that Gackt did say in an interview that he was considering retiring in 2010. So, if he has said that himself, then it looks like he isn't going to be like all of those others that are devoted for life, even if he does continue on past just next year.

I was just reading a tour review for his current tour that was written just a little bit ago, and she said that during the first concert all of the band members were doing summersaults and cartwheels and such, and then Gackt tried to do a backflip and completely failed. >_< One backflip.
And then in the second concert he only got a couple yells out during Mirror before he stopped and said, "Not today. I can't do it today." He did continue, but only for a little bit before he stopped completely. I kind of felt ill reading it...

I'm not trying to say that he is in a worse condition than other JRockers! Even I, who hardly knows anything about Yoshiki, have heard about his awful health. It's just making me very sad. So the idea of him going another five years until he's Hydes age, or almost ten years until he's Yoshiki's age makes me...unhappy.

when was that interview where he said he considers about retiring in 2010? if thats an older one, maybe he changed his mind. I dont know.

But on the other hand, I really didnt know that he was in such a bad condition... I mean that he has such health problems. If that's so, then I dont mind him retiring. I want him to be happy and okay and not ill on stage, that would be just so selfish. I hope he does what's best for him.

Haha, I cried four times, but now I cry more every time I watch it because that theme song they play all through the movie always manages to get me teary, no matter what is happening.

One of the best parts of that whole movie was when Kei smiles at Yi-che the first time he sees her at her painting. That face that Hyde makes is just...simply adorable.

I agree... and she doesnt smile back, I think I wouldve melted away lol. And when Kei is in the bedroom talking about how horrible his life as a vampire is and that everyone is going to grow up but he'll stay like this...and Gachhan started crying... *sigh*#

Another scene I love is when they're at the beach and take this picture and Kei tells Yi-Che that it's okay to smile sometimes...

aww all this talking about the movie makes me wanna watch it again

Oooohh!! He is so cute! And Gackt is always cute when he cries. ^^ I love it when Kei holds the cigarette for Sho. Sexyyyy...... *^^*

I always cry at the part when Sho calls Kei in prison. He is so sad! ;_;
