Gackt

Hmm... I'm not sure about this, you can blog in English on Gackt's blog? There won't be a password thing to exercise exclusion? Pardon me as I don't go to Gackt's blog. Cannot understand the contents anyway. I know Gackt could read English and his English is quite good. Well, if you could write on Gackt's blog then it isn't a big problem on the feeding of infomation part from our side. The problem is he forbid people from translating his blog, people who don't understand won't be able to know more about him, which is a problem on the feeding of information from his side.
Anyway, Gyc-jir and primelajule are both right I guess. I'm just a fan. Since Gordie is so money faced and Gackt do not allow people to translate his blog (I have to believe that he has his reasons besides my one-sided point of view) I'm going to do what I can to stay his fan. I'll still listen to his music, buy it or whatever, get his pictures and probably one day, go Japan to watch his Live or pray hard that he tours. Keeping my hopes high......
 
Oh no no. Don't read me wrong here. Gackt is awesome. And his music is easy to find. And I have nothing to do with this "blog". I was just saying some people are a little to obsessed over him. Black Stone = Awesomeness!
 
we never said that we know him in person. It's just that I personally find it disappointing that he "forbids" people to translate his blog which makes me feel (as a foreign fan) like I wasn't as much worth as a japanese fan. But on the other hand, when I read what Gyc-jir wrote about his strange forms of writing messages and that he maybe doesnt want the original meaning to be lost in the process (and as we know japanese is a very difficult language and not easy to translate) it makes me thoughtful... maybe that's right and it has absolutely nothing to do with foreign fans or whatsoever... either way, I respect his decision.

And of course I still love him, I have for the past 10 years and that wont change in the next 10 years either. I'll still buy his music and listen to it with the same passion. Why would not being able to read his blog change my love to an artist? That would be more than stupid. Gackt is a genius, there's no question about that.
 
I'm so glad that I fnally thought about things logically and stopped being upset with Gackt. XD There is nothing more distressing than being angry at the person that you usually go to when you are upset. You know, usually when I am furious about something I will just listen to Gackt's music, but the past couple of days I haven't wanted to hear his voice. It's nice to have that over now. ^_^ *grabs her Malice Mizer and Gackt CDs and puts them in*

Giostigma, recently a lot of the things that have happened in my life have been very hard, and during that time I was just really finding out about Gackt. Everything that I read about him, every interview that I read, every song lyric that I read was soooo encouraging. Sometimes it felt like he was talking directly to me, and it was the only thing that made it possible for me to forget my problems. It's because of Gackt that despite anything happened to me I could still function through everyday life and not be depressed. I took every word that he said directly to heart, and very quickly loved and respected him more than almost anyone else in the world. And that is why all of this hit so hard, because it felt like I had just been tricking myself. Like, "No wait. That message wasn't for me. I'm not one of those fans he was just talking about. That's just the Japanese people."
I don't think that I'm too obsessed with Gackt. He says his purpose in life is to move other people to find their purposes, and I think he is succeeding. But the only way I can let him do that is to keep listening to his music and reading his messages and, yes....discussing him with other fans on forums. ^-^
 
@Gyc-jir: I totally agree with you. Lately when I was listening to Gackt it made me feel kinda down, like I'm not wanted. I know this is absolutely stupid because music is for everyone but still, I couldnt help it. Now it's alright, his music makes me happy again. I think it's because (like you said) we love him and take every word to our hearts. That's why we sometimes stop thinking logically but think with our hearts and take some things to personally.
 
hmmm... i was thinking a lot about this also, and well, what if Gackt just doesnt want to be TOO famous??? like, he could go to NYC or whatever and maybe one or two people would recognise him, while in Tokyo he gets raped when he gets on the subway XD
and didnt he do that PV about the 9/11 disaster? i heard he was devastated... and i recall reading that NYC is his favorite city on earth... no way he hates us. he just has his reasons... and well, i am a bit sorry for being so angry at him... i always speak before i can handle my temper... i am sorry Gackt...




oh, but those two nights i still kissed my Gackt pic above my bed goodnight. XD
 
Yeah, I thought that too about how he loves New York. And of course he has American friends. I think it's kind of funny how we all freaked out, and now we're all "sorry...sorry...". ^^

lulz i always feel a lil bit happier when i see Gackt smile... he has a lovely smile he should smile more often...
 
Indeed! XD I think I nearly fainted when I first saw that one. Do you listen to/watch a lot of Malice Mizer? I love how much he smiled during those lives, it was just adorable. ^_^ And he had his cute little face, all...not fake (not that I don't love his incredible gorgeous fake face too).
 
no... im not really big on mm... i only liked illuminati, gothique, baroque and beast of blood... so i dont... i will now tho

Yeah, I was sooo glad when I found Dailymotion! Especially because they have the videos of Gackt in Madagascar, and that was something I had been putting off watching on Youtube.
On the topic of Gackt smiling in MM, watch this video! The grin that he makes after the part where he and Kozi are pointing in different directions (0:42) is just so. unbelievably. cute. XD
 
That video is awesome! I love it how he's always smiling, even when everyone else is still expressionless ^^.

awww that is a cute smile.

I really love his smile in Moon Child when they sit on the table of this street "cafe"-thing and thoshii is about to leave and first hyde tries to pass him the cigarettes and throws them into his face (his face expression there is priceless btw)... and after that hyde throws a single cigarette and he scores it between gackts two fingers. he grins and says (well in japanese tho) "pretty cool huh?" that's one of the cutest smiles of him ever <3
 
Haha, yes! That smile in Moon Child is almost inhuman, it is so pretty. *swoons* Only Gackt could ever look like that...

Okay, bringing up a new topic. I know that Gackt and You lived/live together, or at least I have heard it said. But does anyone have any idea when that was? Or have you heard anything about it?
 
There is/was a video up on youtube where they showed Gackts mansion (that wasnt a villa anymore, it was huge) but only in the dark tho with an infrared camera and Hyde was once at his house to read the script of moon child and he said that it was almost too dark to read it so he had to put on a lighter and almost set the script on fire lol but I havent heard anything about Gackt living together with you, sorry =/
 
Hahah, that's so funny. XD I read an interview where Hyde described when he visited Gackt's old house, and he said that Gackt asked him to play darts and he had to say, "Gacchan! It is too dark for me to see the target!" ^_^

Okay, thanks. ^^ I just know I read a translation of Gackt and You talking during a concert about how You had lived in Gackt's house for some time. It was the same time as them gushing about being friends for so long and suchsuch. xD It is so cute when they do that. Hehe.

Hmmm...well...I will just keep an eye out. I know that Gackt sometimes lives with his sister and some of his staff, so if You-kun didn't have a place of his own it seems realistic that he would stay with Gackt. Especially if his house is that big. ^_^

haha doesnt Gackt have a fountain in his bedroom?? i vaguely remember that... hmm how does he not need to use the bathroom every five minutes i will never know... but my friend and i joke that Gackt's house is where we slew Andariel when we were only lvl 20 and his bathroom was where we killed Diablo in the first game... *references to Diablo and Diablo II, dont sweat it if you have no idea what the heck im going on about*

Yeah, the fountian does sound familiar. I think it was...his old house. I guess the noise wouldn't bug him since he never sleeps, and when he does he has sleeping pills so he is completely out. ^^ No wait...now I feel sad again. When will he realise that he is putting thousands of fangirls (not to mention his own friends) through daily trauma by being so unhealthy??
 
I am beginning to think my grandma is way more into Gackt than I am...it's scary
