hahaha! i was watching comedy central presents and this comedian said that whenever he tells this story nobody believes him. then he says, "i was abducted by aliens." everyone started laughing. he then said, "no seriously..they beat thye crap out of me....but i couldnt talk my way out of it...i didn't speak spanish." i thought it was SO funny, especially since half of my family is pure hispanic and so are half of my friends.(so no offense to the beautiful people of Mexico! Brown pride!) 👍

no, i had just turned it on to comedy central. though i do remember he kind of sounded like forrest gump.lol.

Carlos Mancia is awesome. I love how he always does his little "You Sir Are A Beaner" jokes on his show. A lot of people don't like him because he's racist, but it's all supposed to be political incorrect. Shoot Dave Chappelle was racist on his show too, so I don't really see a difference. I mean don't get me wrong I hate racism, but being politically correct all the time harms people more than it does protecting them. Still I think racism is a stupid, bigotted, moronic, shallow, idiotic, and stupid thing for anybody to practice. Too bad there's no true way to get rid of it. :(

lmao... one of my friends is Latvian, and when he was coming to this country as refugee, he heard of the phrase "alien" to describe him, so he looked it up in the dictionary and saw it described as "someone who is hostile" :giggle: He has been trying to live up to it ever since...............

Oh nooo- lol, that's funny.

But is he really racist Doc, or, as comics often do, does he act like a racist to prove the point of racism? Carlos Mancia sounds like a latino/hispanic name so I can't imagine his joke about Mexican aliens is really racist. I should check him out. I mean you can tell jokes about your own people and that's not really racism. But even so it can get bad, with the stereotyping, like when Joan Rivers jokes about the 'Jewish Princess'. That reminds me of that 'Heroes of Jewish Comedy' and later comics were breaking the Jewish stereotypes - I like that type humor better. It's great the way comics can push the limits and be outragous - I like that. But I like comics that have a definite viewpoint and so there is a point to their jokes, whether it's done straightforward or in a roundabout way. Like acting like a racist, to prove racism. I think Chapelle is funny too. I cut them alot of slack even when I don't agree if they're funny enough.

Well he makes racists jokes to not only point out racism, but to prove that it will never go away, plus that if we as Americans continue to be uptight about jokes that we'll never get anywhere with comedy. For example in one episode he talked about the fence that is a prop on his set.

"Hey guys you see that fence? That's the fence my family jumped when they came across the border 30 years ago."

Another joke was about tattoos.

"White people, DO NOT get tattoos of Indian tribes. You're not an Indian, you took the land from the Indians and killed them. If you're going to get a tattoo get one that shows an Indian bending over, and you raping them."

Stuff like that. BTW did you get that PM I sent you?
