Floods & landslide disaster in Western Japan: help & donations

Torrential rainstorms in Western Japan have resulted in the worst floods and landslides in 36 years. Hiroshima and Okayama Prefectures were hit worst, with a death toll of over 200 until today. Many are still missing; two million people were told to evacuate. Over 300 homes were destroyed, and some 10,000 flooded.

That one response about how the victims should be concerned about the feelings of the crane makers though... Jesus. How can someone be so twisted in the head?

Both ANA and JAL also accept mile donations. They will convert at a rate of 1 mile = 1 Yen. If you have some accumulated miles sitting in your account that's a good way of using them.
