Well, all things have down sides now. I recieved a call today from the company I ordered from, they are too backed up for next day shipping and said it would be 2-3 weeks, PROBLEM! I will be going to Japan on May 15, so I definately need it before then.

Anyone got some suggestions on who to order from, keeping the Laptop with the same specs, under $3,000.00?

YOU JUST GOTTA HAVE A CAMERA WHEN YA GO TO JAPAN!!

My OLYMPUS CAMEDIA C-720 has 8X zoom which is great. There are some 10X camers out there now. The 5megapixel is the way to go for sharp pictures but having a long zoom is great for LONG shots. I used to lug an old Cannon AE-1 with 2 giant , heavy telephotos. The digital zoom beats them all to pieces!! I thing 8X equals about a 320 power zoom , so a 10X would reach way out for special shots. I have 5 128meg cards for mine so I can shoot a ton of pics at high quality.I usually take about 5 sets of batteries also to keep rotating them, they last longer! Good luck on getting something soon!!

Well mine as 12X Zoom I made a typo up there.

EDIT: Also I am getting the hang of my camera pretty good, I didnt even charge it yet and I have been playing with it taking pics and looking at them, making movies, etc playing them and still no battery probs... So I am thinking it is pretty good on batteries
