Hello, I am an American student who has only recently begun self-teaching myself Japanese, and I am currently working on a school project where I analyze muscial composers from different qualities of media. For this project I would like to email and possibly interview Shikata Akiko, an anime and game music composer.
I could easily enough use google translate to piece together Japanese translated to English, but like all programmed translators, google translate fails when trying to translate sentence structure, and often translates sentences in ways that make no sense.
I personally am not comfortable enough with my knowledge of Japanese grammer to know that I am speaking in a polite way that makes sense.
So for my question:
If I made an email to Shikata Akiko in Japanese, would this forum be willing to review it and possibly correct my grammer and syntactical errors as they see fit?
