in June,he injured his left leg in an accident,he suffers severe ligament injury
here is a brief translation of what he said,please excuse my poor translation [from Chinese to English]:
For Every Fan
I once said that I felt that you guys saved me,
and now I would like to thank you all,you guys gave me lots of warm words,thank you
also there is something I have to apologize to you guys,
it is about something that can not be compared with things happened in the past,it is about my body condition.
in mid June, I torn the ligament of my left leg in an accident,I won't be able to stand on stage,and probably would be difficult for me to even walk...
from now on,I will spend my life with the cane. I have to realize this.
from the result of the checkup done by my doctor,unless there is miracle, it will not be possible for me to walk with two legs.
I wanted to heal,but my left leg is still swelling, two months past by.
for the sake of fighting the pain, also to kill time, I have started weight lifting.
everyday and everyday, even while asleep I will think about I must wake up.
the goodwill of my friends and you guys have given me the courage to keep going forward.
really,thank you.
fortunately, my two hands can still move!
I can still play guitar and can still play bass! I was so agitated that I did not realize this....now I have am very determined!
even sitting on wheelchair,I will still do Live!
NEVER SAY CAN'T! no matter where I go,even with just one leg,I have to bravely go forward!
for those of you who are expecting me performing on stage,I am very sorry,but in my heart,I have swore to my self that I must do everything that I could do sitting on the wheelchair.
I made you guys worried,I am very sorry....
I deeply look forward to meeting you guys again in the same place.

皆さんに伝えたい事と伝えなければならない事が２つ あります。
まず ひとつめは・・・当初のミニアルバムと云う形からネオフルアルバムと云う形にバージョンアップしたという事です。そして、その発売記念としてＬＩＶＥが決定をしました！！場所は・・・
11月20日(土） 新宿ＭＡＲＳ
※ 詳細は又、後日ＵＰします！
新生音風ＣＤ発売記念ＬＩＶＥを楽しみにしていて下さいね！
新しい風をみなさまにお届けするために今現在、音風メンバースタッフ一同 レコーディング真最中で、前へ・・前へと進んでおります。
そして、もう ひとつと云うのはＧ．Ｂの沢田泰司の事についてですが・・・これは沢田泰司本人の意志を持って、ここに公表させて頂きます。
実は・・・6月の中頃に事故により左足首靭帯断絶という大怪我を負っていたのです。
ＦＡＮを心配させまいと本人は発表を避けていたのです。
医者の診断によると０％とは言い切れないが・・多分無理だろうと云うものでした。
松葉杖の歩行を余儀なく宣告されたと云う事です。
当初の落ち込みは、相当なものは言うまでもなくリハビリなどという事すら口に出来ない程でした・・・
ここに沢田泰司本人からの現在の気持ちを綴るコメントがあります・・・・。

For Every Fan Fanのみんなへ ＴＡＩＪＩ
以前みんなに告白をして僕は みんなに救われた気持ちになれた 今更ながら感謝と共に お礼を言いたい みんな本当に数々の暖かい言葉ありがとう・・・。
そして今日 謝りたい気持ちが僕の中にあるんだ・・それは以前とは比較にならない僕自身の体の一部の事。
実は・・6月中旬頃に事故にあって左足首靭帯を断絶してしまいステージに立つ事、歩く事すら出来なくなってしまった・・・
松葉杖と これからの人生を共にする事を覚悟しなければならない状態なのです。
医者の精密検査の結果は奇跡でも起きなければ もう両足で歩く事は不可能というものだった・・・
リハビリをしようと思うがパンパンに膨らんだ左足の腫れがひかず もう２ヶ月が経とうとしている・・・
とてつもない痛みを堪えるために気を紛らわすためにウエイトトレーニングを始めたのです。
あまりの事に ついに終わるのかと フと考える様になり眠ったまま覚めなければなどと・・・考えながらの日々でした
そんな時に仲間達そして君達みんなの気持ちや想いが僕を前に向けさせてくれました どうも ありがとう・・・。
幸いにも両手は動きます！ＧもＢも弾く事が出来ると云う事に気が動転して気付かずに居ましたが決心をしました！！
イスに座ってでもＬＩＶＥをやろう！Never Say Can`tを合言葉に・・・
やれるとこまで片足でも突き進んでやると胸に刻み込み 堂々とＰＬＡＹをするつもりです。
みんなステージの上でのアクションやパフォーマンスを期待していた方には申し訳ありませんがイスに座っても出来うる事は全てやると心に誓っています
不幸な心配させてしまう報告で本当に ごめんなさい・・・。
みんなと同じ場所で逢える事を心から楽しみにしています。
