I'm more worried about what she thinks of my personality... like I'll obsess about if all she thinks about is how much nicer her ex would've been in this or that circumstance.

No problems here, apparently my g/f's never seen any other guys (aw we were each others first, how romantic).

As for her ex in general, sometimes i wonder if she loved him, what if they had stayed together, but mostly, its nice to remember she's with me now, doesnt think of him often at all, and been with me through some hard times, which, pretty much clears her as trustworthy and "perfect" in my books.

i dont want a porn-star rocket scientist super-model i just want someone who reasonably looks after themself and will be there beside me even if i found myself sitting in a gutter with no clothes or money in the pissing rain.

Next time you blokes get a partner, try to emagine them with you in that situation, if it seems likely, go for it
