DVD playback soft with good still frame capture capability?

Hey all,

I have the NERO suite, and noticed that it seems like a nice DVD player soft, but the capture doesn't work. I wanted to work on some custom DVD covers for films I own and hate the originals of, plus make some nice custom avatars to change things up on my posts with.

Anyone have any reco's?

Try out PowerDvd 5 (Homepage), best software Dvd player there is!
It has many snapshot options, you can have the snapshot copied to the clipboard, saved as a file etc.
To access the snapshot options, click on the Configuration icon (that's the hammer and nail one), and then Player Setting -> Advanced -> Snapshot.
