Do you think German and Japanese sounds similar?

Obviously they have different culture and language origin.

But i guess they share a "Sharp contrast" to how they pronounce words.
But what do you think?

Try watching Death Note in German vs Japanese. They have very sharp contrast to how they speak and pronounce thing
But the origin of these languages is different all together

First video has somewhat low audio. But its the one i could find for comparisons sake.

It's not completely dissimilar and perhaps more similar compared to other languages. But I'd never have thought, hmm this sounds similar. It's hard to be neutral since I can only speak one of them.

As a native German speaker, I may be biased, but I do not really see much similarity between the languages. I suspect it has more to do with the peculiarities of anime as a genre than with any actual linguistic similarity.
