Dir en grey

Is it funny? yes Is it Disrespectful? Very much so.

And also don't get mad at Dirus management, as this was all Korns Management. It was posted on a Korn site that the info would be released on the 10th.

It's funny for about 0.4 seconds...

Aha, so that's what it was... thanks for shedding some light.

i didnt find it funny T_T maybe because im a guy? anyways arg.........DATESSSSSSSSS MOTHER EFFERS DATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *writes hatemail to korn management* (yeah right im too lazy for that sort of thing)

Dates I suppose I can wait for, its the locations of the concerts thats kinda wierding me out. Some of the Cali ones are being held in the strangest places. One of them is like a hop skip and a jump away from Victorville for crying out loud. -_-

i hope its at sorta small venues and nothing huge just so its a more personal experience between the band+crowd T_T but i somehow doubt that it will be small because of all the bands.... :\ i had a nightmare this morning i was watching a deg concert from way back int he crowd.....same nightmare i had for their first nyc concert

Um, I'll just type out all the dates I guess, cause it's in flash so I can't copy paste. The dates only appear on the site sometimes, I don't know what's up with that. If you refresh it a bunch, they might show up, that's what I did. The dates are in the bottom-left-hand corner, ascending, in flash. -

Thurs Aug 24 Kansas City -Verizon
Friday Aug 25 St. Louis -UMB Bank
Sat Aug 26 East Troy -Alpine Valley
Mon Aug 28 Cincinnati -Riverbend
Tues Aug 29 Indianapolis -Verizon

That's all I could copy down before they disappeared again ... the site is acting funny tonight, maybe too much traffic or something.

Yo, Dir en grey have some kind of article written about them in Metel Edge Magazine. On page 63. I went to my local Borders but they don't carry it

I think all venues have pretty much the same setup. Is kaoru pronounced ka-oh-loo? I have been saying it ka-roo but I just started Japanese and realized I was saying it wrong.

Yes, it's pronounced like it looks Ka o roo (of course the r being rolled like a Japanese "r" which sounds similar to an "l" to the English ear). Don't worry, I wasn't sure how to pronounce Karyu's name, so I asked him when I met D'espa backstage, lol. Of all the questions in the world, that's the only one I could think to ask at the time (well, it was the only one I had the balls to ask at the time ... I had a few other questions that I WANTED to ask, but...)

tickets r US $9.99 - US $59.50 T_T im gonna assume the 59.50 is for the close to the stage|pit tickets?! what

maybe i should just buy the expensive tickets for the nj|ny|or ct show since i live by it and can camp out easier and get lawn seats for the rest of the tour T_T but our t shirt idea or something wouldnt work out too well would it....

man if u look at the pics of the stage on the seating chart of the venue.......the farthest back seats (assuming lawnseats) r so far away T_T venue site here Nissan Pavilion

Yes, lawn seats are far away, it'll be that way with any venue. I've had lawn seats for a few shows in Cincinnati ... and it sucks everytime. Not because you're so far away from the band, but because the sound quality is absolutely terrible from that far away (but there may be better sounds systems at other venues). Then again, if you're going to mutliple shows, it may not be that bad of an idea to pay the 10 bucks for lawn tickets for some of them b/c 59.50/show is too much to pay for a whole lot of shows. If you've got that kind of money, you should just go see them in Japan! Also, the lawn is probably going to be crazy amounts of crowded b/c the tickets are so cheap, so you may want to get tickets somewhere in between the lawn and the front for some of the shows.

As far is I know its levels of seating. I saw a website that said something like Reserve one $59.95 reserve 2 $49.95 reserve 3 $39.95 like that all the way to $10 and I wouldn't be surprised if thats how its set up, because that is how the Nissan Pavilion is set up. Its a huge amphitheater. There is an orchestrar (sp?) pit in the very front which is probaly going to be the mosh pits and stuff, and the tiers of seats. Haha this is so cool going see Dir en grey at the very same place I went to my first concert (NSYNC).

BTW its is now on the OHP.

Oh and apparently Saku was on Headbangers ball tonight. Damn I was sleeping when it came on and missed it.

Headbangers Ball still comes on o_0

Is it still a "respectable" rock show, or is on the level of Steve's untitled rock crap (I'm not going to get over how bad that show was!)

Either way, good for Diru!

I love how American shows just play random Diru PVs as opposed to their latest video like they do with American bands

I have a question, everyone is talking about Diru going to be releasing a new album soon, but I'd like a link or something to know where there getting this info at, so I ask you guys has anyone else heard this or has the link to where it can be found?

who the heck wants to sit and see deg though....screw reserved seating T_T i wanna be up against the stage :\ <---me being greedy but poor....lol

For you to be up against the stage you need reserved seating or to get into the pit depending on how your venue is setup because all venues have the lawn area all the way in the back behind the last row of seats.

Here is how my venue is setup

I read somewhere that DEG did do a new song at the LA show although I couldnt hear jack. Im guessing their new album would be Inward Scream.

Because this isn't a Deg tour this is a KORN tour. To us our focal point is Dir en grey, but in reality Dir en grey is nothing but an opening act they will probaly come on first and while I am pretty sure they are going to play more than 30 mins, I am pretty sure they aint going to play 2hrs like Korn is.

HAHAHAHAHA OMG PLACEBO T_T i would so sleep until deg came on too... [ sorry im not a huge american music fan...]

yeah since its more expensive then i expected....i think ill just go to 6.....nj|ny|ct so let me know if anyone wants to hop on....50-60 a ticket isnt really that expensive if u think about it.....since the first concert was like 29+tax+fees.....and im pretty sure u guys paid for travel there....and food and stuff....

I can't wait for the FVT to start. I love Korn, Stonesour and Diru so i'll be there for them

There's absolutely no comparison that's worthy, in my honest opinion. Have you not heard Dir en grey before?

You sure do ask a lot of questions Mr. Pitzer. Like every thread you enter you ask about genres, or something of the like

... are you a reporter of some kind? *begins to get suspicious*

hahaha u just made my day T_T i think i sorta do agree.....there isnt really a band u can put next to deg....

and if u want samples of music....myspace the band T_T
