A pic of the one of the reindeer i work with. They bring them to the zoo every winter. This is jingles. He is soooo sweet and all the other reindeer beat him up.

Its always the sweet ones that get their butts kicked, the world is such an unfair place *(shakes head)*

I know he had a bloody nose and was bleeding all over the place. Now we have to keep him away from all the other reindeer. What was cool though is that when he came to the zoo he was shedding his velvet from his antlers. It was just hanging and was bloody. Never saw that before. We also got to see some of them shed their antlers. You know they shed only one side at a time.

I'm not sure if the pic is real or not, but i wouldn't doubt if it is, you see stranger things than that around here ^_^
Yeah the sheding of the velvet is really cool, i've never seen it because wild animals will actually eat the velvet off...kinda grose but hey thats the way things work. Did you get to keep any of the antlers? that would be cool

Actually some of my other coworkers got the antlers before i did grrrrr. We collect strange stuff from there. I didnt know they eat the velvet maybe thats why we couldnt find all of it when he shed it. You know this year at the zoo has been a lil sad. Karen one of our older goats died. One of our wallabies died. And another goat had to be put to sleep cuz of her arthritis. We had a rooster die too he just walked and then plooped to the ground. Well honestly we dont miss the rooster cuz he was old and pooped everywhere and would steal our food and pick fights with the other roosters.

I have two Shepards! They are very inteligent and sweet....My niece uses it as a horse!! LOL

I cant believe they have a cat smoking. Those shepards are really cute. And one of them are winking.

eek ><! cute doggies! my friend has one german sheperd too. but she migrated to australia, she gave the dog to the police. poor thing..

i hv a rotweiler at home. he's so black! during nite times, i can only see his pink tounge sticking out. hehe! i luv puppies more.
