Hello forum,
long time no see... I will be traveling to Germany with my wife and her family this December. Now I am facing the problem that the Yen is a cheapo and the Euro is quite expensive. I am afraid that changing cash could turn into a gamble. I am considering that having a credit card might be a good option to avoid high exchange fees. But is it really so? And if so, where can I get a (foreigner friendly) credit card that allows me to get cash in Europe? I am holding a bank account with SMBC, but they don't want me to have a credit card. Any advice?
