Could you check these Japanese lyrics?

A friend asked me to help translate a song he likes a lot...He's given me a verse and here is what I have come up with so far...

夜に歌えば 闇に飲まれて
Yoru ni utaeba, yami ni nomarete
If I sing in the night, I may be engulfed by the darkness

朝の光が それを照らす
Asa no hikari ga sore wo terasu
The morning light that shines on you

届かない そうじゃない
todokanai sou ja nai.
Cannot reach me. No that's not it.

扉はもう開かれてる
Tobira ha mou hirakareteru
The door is already opening…

I'm a little confused by "hirakareteru" I know that means something like "open" or "opening"....but I'm not sure if thats it. I'm fairly sure "nomarete" is in the passive form.

飲む
the passive form; 飲まれる
the te-form of 飲まれる; 飲まれて

Similarly,
開く
the passive form; 開かれる
the te-form of 開かれる; 開かれて
開かれてる; the contraction of 開かれている

So, the last line would be literally translated to "The door has already been opened (for me)."

The first and second lines probably make one sentence "夜に歌えば闇に飲まれて、朝の光がそれを照らす".

How would you translate the first and second lines into one sentence? Something like...

"If I sing in the night, the darkness may engulf me, the morning light that shines on you."

I am no lyricist, so this is what those lines mean literally.

Singing in the night, I am engulfed by the darkness, then, the morning light shines on me.

In 朝の光がそれを照らす, "それ" means Me, singing in the night, engulfed by the darkness.

届かない could be interpreted in different ways.

I can't reach you/it
You can't reach it/me/him/her...
It can't reach me/you/us...

In many of songs written these days, the lyrics don't necessarily tell coherent story or describe specific situations but rather try to verbalise certain "moods" or emotional landscape by impressionistic (or just vague)imageries. The latter half of this passage is an example of such a case, I think.
