I don't belong here
I never saw the song, the path I walk
The blood-stained walls, the lines of chalk on the floor
It's getting so hard
I never saw the blacklash and the tide begin to rise



Can someone translate this into Japanese and "romanise" it.

'I don't belong here' maybe ここは、私には場違いな気(感じ)がする。

I'll can't assume it doesn't imply never saw any of these -- the song, the path I walk, The blood-stained walls, the lines of chalk on the floor
so will leave the rest to someone else.

How about ここは私（僕、俺、自分）の居場所じゃない for "I don't belong here"...?

How do you "see" a song? I can't even figure out what that's supposed to mean in English.

The path I walk... 私（substitute pronoun as desired)の歩む道... maybe?

血まみれの壁？
床に引いたチョークの線（白線？）
It's getting so hard... I think something like もう駄目だ、もう耐えられない, would get close to what you're trying for here... but there should be something better than that...

Okay, my head is about to explode. Enough for now. Native and advanced Japanese speakers, please tear my hideous bastardizations of the Japanese language to shreds please.

Perhaps I would translate "I don't belong here" something like:
「ここは私の住む場所じゃない」
which is very similar to jt_' .

I don't think there is really anything wrong with any of our translations, just what is more or less common and will fit best in a song piece.

Oh! I hope my post didn't convey that. I was just giving the resource from where I pulled mine from. I believe they show on that site different ways to say it, also.

edit: If anything it was more of a shameless plug for that particular website, which you probably have seen me post many many times on this forum.

It may be fun to post different scenarios in Japanese where "I don't (feel like) I belong here" or "I feel like an outsider" could be applied. No doubt foreigners actually living there have a bevy of experiences to draw from. I'll also try my hand at it when I get a chance.
