Hi again,
I'm working on japanese grammar as it's getting heavier in the genki book. I came up with a few sentences in English then tried to translate them to japanese and I am wondering if someone can correct them for me with the correct way of how the sentence should go.
Sentence 1 in english:
This is not mine
Sentence 1 in Japanese:
Kore wa watashi no dewa arimasen
これは わたし の では ありません。
Sentence 2 in english:
Takeshi is not my friend.
Mearii is not my friend too.
Sentence 2 in Japanese:
たけしさん は わたしの 友人で は ありません
たけしさん は わたしの ともだち は ありません
Continuation:
みちこ はも わたしの 友人で は ありません。
The two above, I do not know whether to use 友人で or ともだち as they both translate to friend but when I check in a translator for the sentence with "Tomodachi" it translates oddly but the other one is fine.
Someone please correct my mistakes so I can continue to improve~~! Thanks
