Who was it that said we were all born innocent?

Since most of us here are at least a few years into our lives, we are no longer innocent. Heck, many of us sin on a daily basis!

Confess and Repent, NOW!!!

Rest assured that your dark secrets are safe with us.... :smoke:

I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

I quite like the skeletons in my closet...

Anyways, I think I've confessed too many sins on this forum.

I ate the man, who Mike Cash shot in Reno and then deposited his skeleton in Revenant's closet.

There is going to be an advance screening of the new Indiana Jones film tomorrow. I really want to go but I work Saturdays....So, today at work, I "acted" like I was a little under the weather so when I call in sick tomorrow, they will say, "oh, yeah... he wasn't feeling too hot yesterday..".

Heck, my skeletons have skeletons in the closet!

I confess. I was actually trying to cop a feel while dancing with the guy's wife on the dance floor that hot, swelty summer evening back in Alabama, rather than my hand just having slipped during that slow dance.

I am committing one major sin right now, too big to talk to anyone about. Let's just say I've gotten myself into an impossible situation and don't know how to get back out.

The one I will confess to is that I often skive at work. I have an add-on for my Firefox there, minimise-to-tray. When I know my boss isn't looking I play Flash games, and when my boss appears I minimise my Firefox to tray so she can't see what I had on there 😊

Don't get me wrong, I do all the work I'm supposed to do, but I have certain efficient strategies which mean I can do the same work a lot faster than my co-worker. Since I can do the same work in half the time he does, for the same pay, I feel justified in taking some 'me' time ;-)

I, too, play games, chat, download music/films, shop and yes, post on Japan Forum while at work. Oh, and yesterday, at the movies, I took 3 of the free Indiana Jones mini-posters instead of just one like I was supposed to.

Rats! Mike Cash beat me to it. Seriously, as soon as I read the original post, I wanted to use that Johnny Cash (any relation? :-)) quote.

Well, to get to the topic at hand, I'm afraid I don't really have any sins. I'm excrutiatingly virtuous. I am so virtuous...!

I skipped school many times on the 4th grade, because I didn't like our teacher. I'm lazy, altough I'm really hard-working at school. I like sweets too much. I'm easily persuaded to do stupid, regrettable things because I can't say no.

I boned two sixth graders in the public park..... keh, yeh right!

I broke some guys hand because he grabbed me

I Reno man in a shot, him just die to watch.

(That's gonna be hell to translate.)

Sins?

I've laughed at a mentally handicap person at least once. If not in person, then while seeing a picture on the internet (edited or unedited).

I utilize honne and tatemae a lot more than typical people in Western culture. To the point where a lot of western people might call me two faced in instances where speaking by your principles / speaking your mind would probably be the "right" or "accepted" thing to do.

I think Vladimir Nabokov is an excellent writer.

Ashikaga> pfft.. I take a whiz almost every shower. Warm water really helps empty out the bladder I think :)

That is nasty, Chidoriashi..... Mine was an accident (something to do with my goatee getting caught in the razor).

Having said that, you are correct about warm water. When I was a pre-schooler, I used to pee in the kiddie pool at the city public pool ALL THE TIME. When you think about it, though, fishes and other sea creatures pee, poop and God knows what else in the ocean and we swim in it. It CAN'T be just the salt that makes the sea water taste the way it does.

I laughed at 9/11 footage being played with Yakety Sax as the background music.

I pack a little ziplock baggie full of candy and take it up to our bedroom and hide it under the bed so I can snack in the middle of the night. It's my secret stash of candy. I don't share! I told my husband that I was off sugary candy. However I think he's is on to me, he vacuumed the bedroom and he sucked up a bunch of empty ziplock bags from under the bed! heheheee Who would've thought he would vacuum?:p

I was late for college and exceeded the speed limit... not by much, just 114mph in a 70mph zone!

Regret carried to my grave.

When I was young and bought up in a hunting culture, I shot and killed hundreds if not thousands of animals. Back then it made me feel powerful, now it makes me sick to think back about it.
