Actually her name is Elizabeth van Kampen. This is her homepage: Dutch East IndiesJust back from another documentary film from Asia.
Some Berlin-located (non german) Organisers invited me to join an Asian Woman Festival, they know me for long and were very happy to suddenly see me. I did not realise first, where I was siitting, when they almost embraced me. Three words were enough then to fall into an open door. . .
And the material piles up.
BTW, Miss van Campen does not owe you anything, everybody here knows her blog and whereabouts, with greatest respect.
Any above paranoid european or whatnot contruct is worthless and pure fantasy. While facts remain facts.
History interpretations and eyewitnesses are two different things.YES. I read it, and nobody said that she was liar, but there are many different history interpretations.
History interpretations and eyewitnesses are two different things.

Key of this issue is whether Japanese government/military HQ organized it or not. Japan was blamed for that reason.
Rape/brutal acts by soldiers happened everywhere during the war and even today. Many Japanese soliders were killed because of alleged war crimes in Indonesia and others after the war.
The recent study proved Imperial Japanese military HQ was innocent and even try to protect women.
Imperial Japan was NOT NAZI GERMAN.
Does not impress me at all, after having seen the film about Yasukuni and around and those other Taiwanese ones, asking for their people and relatives back out there, and how they were handled, as only one of the parts.
Not to mention the 100 heads competition. . .etc
so waht is your broblem about Yasukuni?
Totally agreed with you.Japan should learn from Germany. It makes one wonder if there isn't some sort of coersion to bring prostitutes to Japan today? powerful non-govt people or entities?
With not admitting wrong doings of the past, not appologizing, nor compensating for the past, it leaves open a possibility for future wrong doings. Do they wish to leave all their options on the table, or something?
These movies draw them without a hesitation because there was no such problem of comfrot women at that time.
...
As not everyone can understand Japanese, and this is not the Japanese language only forum, I do expect you to add a small summary what the movies are about so that everyone can keep following the discussion.
The first two are translated into English.
