CD software companies in Japan

Hi,
I have written a nice piece of memory software for learning kanji. I have had interest from Japanese schools etc to buy the software but at the moment it has no copy protection. I am trying to find a small or medium sized company that has the ability to press software CDs and bolt some basic copy-protection on the front end. Anyone know of a suitable company or where I should look?

I'm an independant software developer--- I can't say that there aren't any disc based solutions to what you are trying to do--- in fact I know, (such as Starforce), but these methods are usually employed by the big name game developers to protect their products (Civ 4, Splinter Cell--- etc)--- I've never seen anyone at the utility level protect their software in such a way.

No matter what you do it seems like you are going a little over the top to protect your work--- I understand the desire to do this, but at the basic level, even clone disc will copy a protected cd, warts and all----

You'd be better off spending that time improving the product than trying to prevent people from copying it--- not to mention the fact software such as this is freely available on the internet.

Thanks for the reply. Of course I am continually trying to improve the software, and, in fact there is no software available on the internet or elsewhere that does what my software does. Its (IMHO) strengths are the very reason I would like to discourage copying. Of course I am not looking for the kind of protection that you mentioned. Something as simple as a licence key would be sufficient to deter the casual copier would be sufficient. A company that coule press the CDs and provide such a service would be ideal.

I bought LOMAC Flaming Cliffs, which is an add-on for Lock On Modern Air Combat. You have 5 serials to use. I've already used up two for a reinstallation. What kind of crap is that? When I run out of serial number, do I buy it again? THATS #_|(#@ UP!!! Effective, but a cheap way to make money. It's always the money.
