Business posts?

I was just wondering why is there so many business posts? People really just be making profiles on forums about Japan trying to sale things from their businesses?

We see it a lot. The weird thing is , they never seem to notice the members they message have not been on for many years and they will most likely never get an answer back. I wonder if they search the internet with Google or something else and put out a lot of messages , hoping they might get lucky and get an answer back. If the contact is inappropriate/annoying or too many of them they will probably be banned with the bad messages deleted.

This is a form of spam I call trawling, which seems especially appropriate in this case
